Work‐Fit Regional Team Leader

Position Description: The Work-Fit Regional Team Lead is directly responsible for supporting a regionally assigned customer program group, consisting of multiple site locations. The primary objective of Regional Team Lead is to provide additional operational leadership and support to current Work-Fit staff, clients, and customers. The Regional Lead is responsible for:

  • Providing consistent leadership in support of the Work-Fit's mission and Client program goals.

  • Assisting in the planning and directing of operations to improve program processes, productivity, and efficiency.

  • Providing support to ~22.5 full-time positions in Well Being and Fitness Delivery.

  • The position is nearly 100% administrative. The ability to perform service delivery is recommended. Occasional service delivery may take place as part of training or for spot coverage.

Reports to: The Regional Team Lead will report directly to Vice President of Operations/Client Account Manager. Regional Leads will also have responsibility to establish regular reporting rhythm with respective Client Program Managers of their assigned program group/locations.

Consulting Partners: The Regional Team Lead will collaborate with all Work-Fit Leadership (VP of Operations, Director of Operations, Team Leaders, Assistant Team Leaders) in conjunction with Client Senior Leadership and Program Managers. Additional collaboration with other Client Personnel will be expected as requested by Client Leadership.

Work Location: Preferably, the Regional Team Lead will be located near a Boeing Well Being / Fitness site. Support areas include all single provider sites (Arlington (VA), Chicago (IL), Huntsville (AL), Englewood (CO), Huntington Beach (CA), Seal Beach (CA), and El Segundo (CA)) and team oriented sites (Everett, Seattle, Renton & Auburn (WA), Portland (OR), Salt Lake (UT), Mesa (AZ), San Antonio (TX), St. Louis (MO), Ridley Park (PA), and North Charleston (SC) Well Being and Fitness Providers. Support expectations:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Policy and Procedures

  • Maintains a safe, secure, and professional work environment by communicating and enforcing policies, procedures, and the expectations for the Work-Fit Employee Code of Conduct.

  • Ensures quality service by collaborating with site Leadership to understand, teach and enforce Work-Fit and Client organization Policy and Procedures.

  • Maintains and understands the Work-Fit and Client agreed upon Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual(s) which defines the delivery of service at the specified client site(s).

  • Collaborates to advance SOP practices for continued quality and professional practice compliance.

  • Business Planning

  • Assists the Work-Fit Leadership with establishing strategic goals that match Work‐Fit services and resources to the needs of the customer.

  • Assists with identifying and evaluating trends to create a unified vision to deliver Work‐Fit services.

  • Completes assignments from Work-Fit Leadership to meet the strategic goals of the Program.

  • Program Measurement

  • Ensures that all Work-Fit service interactions are documented in the Work-Fit and client (if applicable) record management database (s) in accordance with all Work-Fit record management policies and quality practices.

  • Conducts quality reviews of record management practices and implements action plans to ensure continuous quality improvement.

  • Assists the Work-Fit Leadership to develop and review Work-Fit scorecard(s) within the agreed upon guidelines with Client Leadership.

  • Team Member Development

  • Assists with talent acquisition, on-boarding, and training employees following all Work-Fit processes.

  • Assists in the evaluation of Team Member job performance through audits and customer interviews.

  • Coaches and counsels Team Members on professionalism and performance in the delivery of Work-Fit services.

  • Assists Team Leaders, Assistant Team Leaders, and Team Members in creating personal professional growth plans that are consistent with customer service needs and individual professional passions.

  • Delivery of Work-Fit Services

  • Makes health personal through the delivery of the agreed upon Scope of Services to the customer in accordance with the SOP.

  • Makes health personal through coaching Program all Team Members on the delivery of the agreed upon Scope of Services to the customer in accordance with the SOP.

  • Assists in the establishment of Best Practice sharing and implementation practices throughout Work-Fit.

  • Customer Relations

  • Conducts regular (no longer than 90 days between) Customer Interviews to consistently understand the impact of Work-Fit services to the client.

  • Integrates with the customer and participates in client meetings as agreed upon.

  • Professional Development

  • Remains current with all policies, credentialing and laws governing professional practice.

  • Advances professional and technical knowledge by completing educational workshops, obtaining advanced certifications, completing virtual courses, reviewing professional publications, establishing strategic networks, collaborating with other professionals, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.

  • Program Marketing

  • Assists Work-Fit Leadership in the development of a marketing plan for the integration and advancement of Work‐Fit services.

  • Develops and delivers marketing materials and presentations.

  • Creates a culture of proactivity and personal health responsibility through the development, distribution, delivery and posting of educational materials utilizing available client distribution/posting resources.

  • Facility/Office Management

  • Ensures that the security of sensitive records (hard copy and computerized) is always maintained.

  • Maintains a work area that is neat, clean, and organized.

  • Maintains office equipment in safe working order.

  • Additional Duties and Projects as Assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Work-Fit/Customer specified health field such as health, wellness, community health, exercise science, health promotion, or related field. A master's degree is preferred.

  • Professional certification in the specified health field.

  • Maintain CPR/AED certification.

  • Seven years of professional experience in a specified health field.

  • Three years of program management experience.

  • Experience in delivery of services within fitness center, fitness programming, group fitness instruction, wellness and health promotion campaigns, presentations, events and projects.

  • Experience in the coaching, mentoring and development of team members at various levels of experience.

  • Effective written (including proper grammar and spelling) and oral communication skills with individuals as well as group settings. Experience with virtual communications and presentations is preferred.

  • Ability to manage time to ensure all duties and responsibilities are met on a daily and weekly basis.

  • Ability to work without direct supervision.

  • Proficient with use of electronic recordkeeping database and client databases (as applicable to each Program).

  • Comfortable in the delivery of service in various work environments such as manufacturing, warehousing, office, and outdoors.

  • Ability to maintain a professional home office environment. The position involves remote work along with 1-2 days of onsite support per week.

  • Maintain a consistent and flexible schedule to meet the needs of the Work-Fit Team and Work-Fit customers. Weekend and evening hours may be necessary based on the needs of the business. A 5-8 or 9-8 schedule is preferred with consistent hours that ensures equitable time zone availability.

  • Ability to travel, including overnight travel, by plane, train, and/or automobile to current and potential customer sites throughout the United States. Travel will be required. Regular travel is estimated at 10%, with ad hoc travel as needed.
