Regional Director of Social Work

Centers Health Care is seeking an experienced Full-Time Regional Director of Social Work to work throughout our upstate NY Skilled Nursing Facilities. Experience in a Corporate / Regional Director of Social Work role or similar strongly preferred. 5+ years' working as a Director of Social Work in a long-term care setting required. Extensive travel will be required.

  • Responsible for driving clinical outcomes, mentoring staff, implementing corporate policies & procedures.

  • Assess & evaluate the Social Services departments in our Upstate NY long-term care facilities.

  • Provide routine consultation services to the assigned facilities.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.

  • May occasionally be assigned as Interim Director of Social Services on a short-term basis.

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Master's degree in social work required

  • Experience in a Corporate / Regional Director of Social Work role or similar strongly preferred

  • 5+ years' working as a Director of Social Work in a long-term care setting required

  • Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills.

  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines.

  • Extensive travel required
