The Regional Services & Solutions Director (RSSD), SouthWest Region will lead, energize, and grow the Life Cycles Services business for Rockwell Automation. The RSSD also will lead Regional Managers for Solution Consultants and support the direction and development the regional team of Solution Consultants for early sales cycle engagement in opportunities. The selected individual will have ownership for providing 3 year strategic & 1 year execution plans focused on achieving orders/sales growth, achieving operational excellence, improving customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement for entire services and solutions portfolio.
As a partner with the Life Cycles Services organization and RA channel partners, the individual will be accountable for not only driving sustainable business growth but also continuing to enhance employee engagement and continuing to drive a culture of ethics, integrity, and inclusion where everyone feels empowered to do their best work every day.
Achieve Annual Sales for Life Cycles Services business segment.
Key owner of Strategic Priorities including Process, Information Solutions, and Connected Services
Drive the customer contract growth to support the ARR initiative.
Partner with RA Sales and Distributors to ensure collaboration between sales and the Solutions and Services Businesses to meet the needs of customers and driving business results.
Ensure escalation for successful Project Delivery & Contractual Commitments as well as communication plans to keep RA Sales and Distribution informed.
Engage in constructive conflict resolution, pre and post sales, with stakeholders including customers, sales, channel, and BU.
Recruit, retain, and develop best talent for Service & Solution leadership team as well as Solution Consultants teams and field talent base needs.
Lead initiatives to enhance the structure, culture, and talent mix to support the growth and performance through Commercial Excellence sales model.
Ensure resources deliver solutions that link customer drivers and create value for the customer.
Assures the consistent utilization and implementation of standard processes and tools within the region including disciplined sales process, Win strategy and solutions delivery.
Own the delivery strategy, balancing Partner Network and RA delivery to better serve the customer base.
Knowledgeable of industry trends and competitive environment including current and future customer needs.
Maintain close linkage with the Life Cycle Serivces Business Leaders to ensure the right service/solution offerings are developed and presented across all customer segments.
Support the RVP in maintaining the right mix and capability ofcommercial resources to maximize results.
Build and motivate an overachieving sales organization through effective resource deployment, recruitment, performance management and development of high performing talent.
Supports employee development by investing time and resources for both formal and informal training and executes development plans/opportunities for the team.
Ensure thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct and train/motivate sales teams in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures.
Bachelor's degree or (4) years equivalent of relevant experience

Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline. Additional business-related degree/experience preferred.
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years management experience.
An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Field P & L Experience is beneficial.
Software industry experience.
Minimum of 8 years of management experience, minimum 10 years of automation experience
