  • Co-responsible for the P&L, working capital, and liquidity management.

  • Ensure availability and analysis of all data/information necessary for sound decision making, and contribute to setting and driving the overall region strategy.

  • Continuously monitor the performance, and evaluate risks and opportunities to ensure the region stays on track to deliver financial results, including Profit, WC and Cash.

  • Provide predictable plans and forecasts for the region.

  • Ensure all local practices/processes in the region are fully in line with accounting, financial, legal, tax, and guiding principles.

  • Lead preparation of OP including simulations with a holistic view on all aspects of the P&L, balance sheet, and liquidity.

  • Ensure books and records are accurate and all monthly financial close is completed timely and accurately.

  • Holder of the local power of attorney (US/Mexico/Canada).

  • Oversee handling of authorities, statutory reporting, audits, legal- and insurance-cases.

  • Functionally lead, coach, and develop the regional finance & accounting teams.

  • Implementation of all changes in corporate standards, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Ensure adherence with IC pricing principles in line with internal/external standards and requirements.

  • Responsible for up to date data in all relevant systems, especially for TBM management and all sales related information.

  • Identify and share best practice within the region.

  • Manage areas of special focus or projects for the region.

  • Supports and plays active role in the M&A and integration of new businesses and entities.

  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Qualificationsarrow_right

  • Relevant university degree (Finance/Accounting); MBA and CPA preferred.

  • More than 10 years of business partner and controlling experience in a leadership function (must have managed a team).

  • Deep knowledge of business and financial processes, with a broad knowledge of financial and controlling implications on operational and strategic business decisions.

  • CPG industry strongly preferred.

  • Experienced with regional and/or global responsibilities, having successfully dealt with people and authorities from various countries and cultures.

  • Capability to implement controlled processes against organizational resistance.

  • Ability to travel ~15%, including international.

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Aurora, IL (on-site 3 days/week)
