Responsibilities

New remote home office opportunity for a Sales Representative to promote and sell Aftermarket products as offered by Bruker BioSpin to existing and new customers.

Please note this opportunity is open to candidates living in EST or CST timezones to accomodate business needs.

  • Develop and grow the Aftermarket Business unit to maximize volume and profitability.

  • Assist instrument sales by maintaining and developing effective, working customer relationships through valued service products.

  • Conduct oral and written negotiations with customers, suppliers, partner companies and internal departments.

  • Promote and sell Aftermarket products (Upgrades, Service Agreements, On-site On-demand, Enhance your lab) as offered by Bruker BioSpin to all existing and new customers.

  • Maintain and grow the Service Agreement business for all BBIO product groups in the assigned sales territory.

  • Evaluate needs and negotiate contracts directly with key accounts or indirectly with third Party Service Providers subject to chart of authority.

  • Build and develop new and existing customer relationships that ensure Bruker is viewed as a long-term business partner.

  • Develop proposal for sales campaigns for specific service products and markets/customers and proactively align campaigns with the Regional Sales Manager and Vice President Global Aftermarket Sales before execution.

  • Actively monitor, observe, and report on industry developments, competitive and market trends

  • Maintain all sales related information in the company's CRM (SalesForce.com) on an up-to-date basis, including leads, accounts, opportunities, and sales funnel management

  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology or related life sciences discipline or 10+ years' equivalent sales work experience required. Advanced degree or advanced business degree is a plus.

  • Minimum 6 years hands on promotion and sales Aftermarket suppot work experience with a proven successful track record of selling service for instrumentation within a life sciences or engineering work environment

  • Excellent oral, written, computer, technical, and proposal communication and presentation skills with proven ability to prepare and deliver concise and polished documents, reports, and presentations

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Sales Force, and Miller Heiman

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with fluency in English. Additional languages desirable.

  • Advanced sales training with proven and successful relationship management, negotiation, and closing skills

  • Advanced analytical and constructive problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong organizational, time and project management skills with excellent follow up and response

  • Highly self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and collaborative work experience within a global, multi-cultural organization

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and positive business relationships with all parties

  • Proven flexibility with ability to prioritize and manage differing time constraints

  • Tenacity and self-motivation inspired by success, enthusiasm, drive, and initiative directed towards achieving positive outcomes

  • Self-discipline and the ability to decide priorities in a rapidly changing commercial environment

  • An outgoing and likeable personality with a high degree of personal integrity

  • Team player with ability to build confidence and to establish strong co-operative relationships with personnel throughout the company, customer base and with key individuals within the industry

  • Flexible attitude to working hours which are sometimes influenced by factors such as the need to complete the job or the availability of the client

  • A very high standard of ethics, communication, and personal presentation

  • Ability to successfully complete position training requirements

  • Ability to maintain valid passport with flexibility for domestic, overnight, and international travel

  • Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state or governing location

  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation

  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
