Job FunctionReporting into the Director of Sales, US & Canada, the Regional Sales Manager will be based in the Midwest region, preferably, and will be responsible for delivering sales growth targets within the respective territory and overseeing the execution of the sales strategy by developing a detailed sales plan and building strong relationships with key customers.

Identify new business opportunities, drive pipeline management, demand forecasting, customer satisfaction, while collaborating closely with other functions providing guidance, support and training to meet team goals. Strive to build and maintain a High-Performance Culture.Responsibilities Building and maintaining strong, long lasting customer relationships

Understands customer needs and provides value based solutions

Main point of contact for key accounts and develops strategies to nurture and grow them

Leads complex negotiations with customer, including multi-year contracts

Resolves commercial and business-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction

Develops and implements strategies to expand sales in existing and alternative markets or customers

Directs sales engineers to develop target accounts and specific product lines, while coaching, training and motivating them towards their goals

Collaborates with Technical Service team to support customer projects

Coordinates sales activities, trials and product promotion for the territory

Prepares and conducts technical/product presentations and demonstrations to customers

Drives new business development activities and identifies growth opportunities with key customers and within the territory

Manages the opportunity pipeline in CRM (SalesForce) to support growth targets

Participates in regional sales meetings and product training sessions as necessary

Monitors sales performance and conducts regular reviews to ensure monthly sales goal attainment

Creates and manages sales budgets and provides monthly demand forecasts for production planning

Stays up to date and analyzes market trends and competition, monitoring competitor activity and adjusting strategy accordingly

Supports product positioning and product development

Tracks completion of open issues in a timely fashion

Actively participates in industry related events, tradeshows, and obtains information from frequent meeting with customer and internal teams

Required ExperienceBachelor's Degree required5 years of experience of business-to-business sales

Proven track record of achieving sales targets3 years of experience managing people

Solid knowledge of sales techniques and strategies

Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills

Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work in a high pace demanding environment

Flexible and open to change

Travel Requirements50-60% travel
