Summary

TETRA Technologies, Inc. has an opening for a Regional Sales Manager. The position, based in The Woodlands corporate office, reports to the Commercial Director. Below are the scope and details of the position requirements.

Scope

Lead and manage regional marketing and sales activities in order to deliver on the short and long term targets of revenue, gross margin, fixed costs, and customer satisfaction within a framework of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, implementing and managing the market and sales strategies

  • Drive the commercial strategy to deliver on volume, pricing, market share, and customer satisfaction targets

  • Contribute to meeting targets for DSO, inventory and forecast accuracy

  • Manage cash expenses within budget guidelines

  • Develop, maintain and grow customer relationships

  • Communicate customer price changes in a timely and professional manner

  • Participate in Trade Shows and other Industry activities as necessary

  • Assist in establishing and maintaining efficient sales channels balancing reliability with inventory levels

  • Assess and communicate market trends

  • Comply with organizational Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ), Legal etc. policies and requirements

  • Coordinate with Customer service, supply chain and other business function stakeholders

Educational Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree; Commercial/Technical/Marketing

  • At least 4 years of experience in the chemical industry with marketing and sales experience

  • Broad leadership experience

  • Commercial background with good business acumen

  • Strong analytical skill; data driven and fact based decision making

  • Thorough and effective oral and written communication

  • Relationship management at all levels with customer, industry associations and stakeholders, and internal TETRA colleagues

  • Marketing and sales strategy development and execution
