This is a remote position from the Central Region which would consist of the states: MI, OH, IN, KY, IL, WI, MN, ND, SD, NE, KS, and Ontario in Canada.

This team manages relationships with dealer organizations that promote or sell organizational products and services. They work with dealers to develop and understanding of the organization's offerings and their target market. They provide expertise and guidance to dealers in support of current sales cycles. They track dealer performance and processes revenue splits, payments, or commissions. They ensure that dealer activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any applicable external regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage multiple business aspects of nominated Dealer Accounts in a manner which:

  • achieves targeted machine and parts sales volumes,

  • enhances company margin from sales activities

  • maintains dealer receivables within agreed parameters, and improves customer satisfaction and service levels

  • Develop implement and manage sales & marketing initiatives for dealer accounts within the assigned region, in a highly professional capacity, respecting company confidentiality at all times

  • Develop and assess annual business plans for each dealer account, providing regular documented feedback on progress vs. plan throughout the year

  • Identify, appoint, and assist in the development of new dealer accounts where appropriate within the region

  • Ensure all dealer accounts are formally contracted, current and aligned to Terex Standards

  • Establish dealer sales targets and provide forecasts for machines and parts sales in line with the annual business plan

  • Secure sales orders for machines and parts in line w/agreed targets while striving to maintain or improve company sales margins

  • Work directly with dealer accounts and company parts representatives to drive parts sales and improve deal service levels

  • Actively participate in the management of credit control aspects of dealer accounts

  • Train and advise dealer staff (or end users) on company products, machine applications, services, warranties and basic aspects of technical sales.

  • Pro-actively liaise with other company functions to ensure dealer accounts have access to engineers, field service and other team members as necessary

  • Carry out ongoing research of local market and business activity and identify new opportunities for current and future products

  • Receive feedback on existing products and services as well as changes, enhancements, and new products and convey information to engineering and market team members for research and consideration

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of New Business Development within an Industrial environment in the sales of capital equipment
  • 3+ years of experience with delivering sales presentations to Industrial customers

Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing dealer accounts in an Industrial environment

  • In-depth technical sales and applications knowledge of heavy equipment machinery

  • Bachelor degree

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent problem solving skills to develop sales strategies

  • Thorough working knowledge of MS Office packages and presentation software packages

  • Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with a variety of large teams

  • Able to travel up to 75% of the time including international travel

Responsibilities: * Ensure compliance with all Terex policies, procedures, and work instructions * Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the service team and service department. * Supervise and coordinate estimations, planning, allocation of labor and parts for all major inspections, rebuilds, workshop repairs and field service activities. * Ensuring all jobs are compliant and completed successfully by maintaining safety, efficiency, quality, standards and maximizing utilization, while working within estimated pricing and promise dates. * Represent the Service Team in its relationships with all customers by maintaining effective communications. * Communicate scope of work with fitters, assist with diagnosis and communicate with others departments for technical information. * Ensure that all repairs remain within budget and on time by daily reviewing progress of repairs. * Assist with inquiries and discuss technical issues with customers. * Assist with repairs, maintenance and servicing work where required. * Assist in identifying training requirements for the Service Department. * Actively attend and take part in meetings, training and team group projects. * Supervise/manage the field service technicians, service coordinator & any other service related role w/in department * Any other duties as required or directed by your manager Basic Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED equivalent * Good communications skills with both internal and external customers. * 2 years experience in large equipment, maintenance and product support. * 2+ years experience within a supervisory role.
