We are seeking a passionate, results oriented, sales professional to drive revenue growth calling on large enterprise accounts.

Regional Sales Managers are individual contributors who play a vital role in driving a significant share of revenue for Splunk.

We provide our reps with an environment in which they can make valuable contributions from day one while also building opportunities for learning and growth. The work you'll do will directly impact the experience of our customers.

Responsibilities:

You will establish a vision and plan to guide your long-term approach to pipeline generation. You will consistently deliver license, support, and service revenue targets dedication to the number and to deadlines. In addition, you will:

  • Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities.

  • Explore the full spectrum of relationships and business possibilities across the client's entire org chart.

  • Become known as a thought-leader in machine learning and predictive analytics.

  • Expand relationships and orchestrate complex deals across more diverse business stake-holders.

  • Holistically embrace, access, and utilize the channel to identify and open new, unchartered opportunities.

  • Work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources. Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions.

Qualifications

  • You will have 10+ years of direct sales experience selling enterprise software to large enterprises (required).

  • You have previous experience utilizing partners, channels and alliances to sell more successfully and overachieve your quota.

  • You have sold a similar complex solution software and have experience in any of the following: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, business applications and/or analytics.

  • You have a measurable track record in new business development and over achieving sales targets

  • Experience in selling complex enterprise software solutions and ability to adapt in fast-growing and changing environments

  • Experience in successfully selling during market creation phase

  • Proven track record of successfully closing six and seven figure software licensing deals with prospects and customers in the defined territory.

  • Experience in the "C" suite, strong executive presence and polish, and excellent listening skills.

  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques; knowledge of MEDDIC and Challenger methodologies is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus or equivalent experience

VIEW JOBS 8/22/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-20T00:00 Position Summary: RSM is looking for a dynamic Strategic Account Relationship Manager to work closely with our Relationship Leads (RL) while acting as a liaison across our sales and marketing teams. This individual will help drive operational success within named strategic accounts in the New England market. Responsibilities: * Provide support to the identified Relationship Leads. Including consistently providing operational support allowing the RLs to effectively: * Manage the account penetration strategy and relationships across mid-market companies to build a business pipeline in the market * Organize and lead efforts for opportunity management, marketing services and events to increase brand awareness in the market and local business development * Oversee business development pipelines * Provide financial analyst support, including acquiring, reviewing and interpreting financial data * Collaborate with local business partners to define and communicate marketing opportunities and help ensure alignment with relevant marketing events and programs * Perform the following in support of the RL and the success of the overall account: * Create and own communications across the RSM teams related to status of engagements, learnings, challenges and keeping all stakeholders up to date in real time * Build the account relationship review book for the quarterly/annual review * Complete various other activities necessary for quarterly/annual review preparation * Responsible for account plans and CRM reporting * Provide the RL with intelligence about other service providers serving the account * Account plan ownership and communicating that to the team * Routinely perform certain activities with little supervision which include: * Create advanced presentations without the aid of a template * Share best practices and updates across RLs for the teams to consider * Write memos and create standard templates using clear and concise natural language * Create and work with spreadsheets using PivotTables, V-Lookups, and IF statements * Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree * 5+ years of experience in sales operations and/or account management * Proven experience in operational business process improvement * Working knowledge of project management methodologies * Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially with Excel and PowerPoint * Experience leveraging a CRM tool for report generation and sales tracking * Ability to prepare presentations including charts, graphics and tables, speaker notes and handouts, etc. * Exhibit exceptionally strong communication, presentation, analytical and organizational skills. * Effective organization and time management skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks * Affinity for technology * Travel as required (local and overnight when appropriate, approximately 10-15%) Preferred Qualifications: * Experience managing buying process with large private and mid-market public companies. * Experience working for Big Four or other national firms * Microsoft CRM You want your next step to be the right one.
