Spirent is looking for an exceptional field sales professional to drive solution sales around Applications and Security, 5G Mobility, Wifi and Cloud solutions. The Regional Sales Manager will be a key team member on the Spirent sales team focused on selling into Equipment Manufacturers, start ups and Chipset vendors in the territory. This role has complete accountability of sales from identifying, qualifying and closing new business to meet or exceed quota expectations. The ideal candidate will take the time to understand the business priorities and challenges of customers and map the value of the Spirent solutions to customer needs. Collaboration with overall account management and activities with other Spirent business unit sales counterparts.

Accountability for NEMs and Chipset vendors customers, including annual and quarterly bookings targets.
Build a plan to manage and expand new business in existing accounts and start-ups in the territory
Uses consultative, solution selling and business development skills at the Executive level to align the client's business needs with the company's solutions.
Build strong relationships, especially working with executives in lines of business.
Accurate forecasting through Salesforce and regular forecast commitments.
Work with Insides Sales, Systems Engineering, and local Sales representatives in qualifying, creating and executing strategies for current and new customers.
Leverage Spirent's territory Sales teams to drive focus needed to drive/expand Spirent leading position in this market.
Identify key individuals within target accounts, build business and technical champions, and close business.
Develop and maintain strategic working relationships with assigned clients and understand each client's technical and business needs.
Responsible for revenue generation/quota attainment, strategic account & territory management and sales opportunity management.
Drive Spirent sales activity within the region and have the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations, lead customer discussions and effectively. communicate the benefits of Spirent's solution.
Responsibility for driving customer requirements and conveying accounts' strategic directions.
Develop and implement sales strategies needed to successfully exceed revenue goals.
Bachelor's degree with Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or technical field from an accredited university required or equivalent work experience. Master's degree with a technical focus is a plus.
Proven track record with 5 years+ of consistently exceeding quota. Experience in the technology industry targeting Equipment Manufacturers, Chip vendors and/or Cloud customers.
Solid understanding of Networking Market, key players, and ecosystems.
Previous experience selling hardware and/or software is preferred.
Excellent listening, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Great understanding of telecommunication market.
Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
Experience with Test & Measurement solutions is a plus
