The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue through direct sales to Long Term Care Facilities. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will establish and maintain high-level professional relationships with key decision-makers, implement sales and marketing strategies, and drive revenues to achieve sales objectives. Additional responsibilities include appropriate coordination between sales, marketing, contract administration, and operations.

As our Regional Sales Manager, you will:

  • Assist the organization in building and establishing a "Best in Class" Sales & Marketing Organization in order to effectively identify, target, and generate a consistent and continuous revenue stream from qualified long-term care clients as a result of effective and systematic direct sales execution

  • Sell to Net New Customers and/or Existing Customers

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key area healthcare executives and professionals in the market

  • Provide software demonstrations to prospective clients

  • Attend and coordinate industry Trade Shows

  • Participate in professional societies and activities related to the health care industry, as appropriate

  • Develop and implement market-specific strategic sales and marketing plan to achieve objectives for areas of responsibility

  • Prepare and submit required management reports reflecting progress and accomplishments

  • Identify both new business opportunities and new customer call points within the market served for additional revenue opportunity

  • Build, maintain and update Salesforce database information as required

  • Coordinate joint sales & marketing efforts as appropriate

  • Champion the concept, principles, and services of MatrixCare

Skills and Experience needed for the Regional Sales position:

  • A Bachelor's Degree. A combination of education and experience will be accepted

  • 5 + years of experience in software sales is required

  • Experience in software sales to the long-term care industry and/or a high-level consultative healthcare product and/or service sales experience is preferred

  • A demonstrated track record of accomplishments in healthcare-related sales including exceeded quota

  • Strong high-level communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Effective sales management and organizational skills

  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Results oriented

  • A proven team player

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

  • Computer literate in MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

  • Strategic Selling, Challenger Sale, and/or similar sales training

  • Ability to travel up to 75%

Duties and Responsibilities This key position requires someone who is able to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of ExtraHop's products and technologies, competitive products and industry trends. You are primarily responsible for increasing revenue in assigned regions/territories/districts through identifying, recruiting, and developing opportunity for generating direct sales or partnerships with resellers. * Meet and exceed assigned sales targets by closing new accounts and growing revenues in existing customer installations * Identify prospects for ExtraHop products through cold calls, and lead follow-up and face-to-face meetings * Call on senior executives to understand the business, decision-making, and financing processes of your territory * Present and demonstrate ExtraHop products to customers * Provide customer and competitor feedback and field intelligence where available and necessary * Prepare and implement strategic sales account plans for all customers and identify business growth opportunities in assigned customer base * Ensure resellers and field sales engineers and management are working together in the sales process, lead generation, registering opportunities, accurately forecasting revenue, and tracking to required revenue goals established by their discount tier * Work with resellers to grow business in your territory * Prepare and maintain an accurate sales forecast for your territory * Network in customer and related organizations Required Qualifications and Experience * Four-year degree or equivalent in a related discipline (e.g., information technology, computer science, business, or engineering) * Five years' experience in technology sales with a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets * Three years of cybersecurity sales experience * Two years of selling into the SLED verticle (State, Local and Education) * Demonstrated technical acumen to articulate ExtraHop's value proposition in a differentiated and compelling manner * Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills * Proven history of sales success in network/application management or related IT infrastructured solutions * Demonstrated ability to secure meetings and close deals with senior level executives * Solid understanding of enterprise networking technologies: switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WAN optimization technologies, and so forth is a plus * Strong independent work ethic and experience working in startup culture * Existing senior level relationships at a wide range of enterprise accounts in your assigned territory * Background in software/hardware sales and distribution with large software, hardware, and/or networking companies * Ability to travel About ExtraHop At ExtraHop, we create great products because we give talented employees the freedom to be intellectually curious and creative.
