How You Will Make Contributions That Matter...

• Responsible for multiple Midwestern and Southern United States foodservice accounts including distributors and operators.

• States include but may not be limited to Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio.

• Dedicated exclusively to building, maintaining, managing and growing relationships with these customers.

• Develop annual sales budget and meet annual volume and profit targets.

• Analyze sales and profit data to proactively manage business and identify growth opportunities.

• Provide competitive market intelligence, customer feedback and business trend updates.

• Present new items, business recommendations and strategies to all accounts within the assigned territory.

• Closely align with Operations on demand and new business opportunities to maximize production efficiency.

• Resolve customer issues by working closely with Transportation, R&D, Quality Assurance, and Finance Teams.

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You….

• Have 5-7 years of experience in CPG sales market, cheese or dairy experience preferred.

• Have a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, culinary or food science, related field or equivalent experience.

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing Gordon Foodservice

• Have 5-7 years of experience in managing a foodservice broker.

• Your home location is near a major airport within the designated region.

• Preferred locations: Grand Rapids, MI; Detroit, MI

• You are highly motivated to succeed independently and thrive in a competitive environment.

• Are comfortable with up to 50% travel.

• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS

• Have extensive experience with all of these skills: negotiation, presentation, sales management, sales & profit analysis, new business prospecting, sales tracking, and closing.

Salary Range: $102,170 to $134,100

Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
