Job Summary

The manager, regional sales provides direction and coaching for the enterprise sales initiatives, marketing and sales focus of Profile stores. Oversees the short and long term activity of company-wide sales.

Advocates the development of new member markets and the improvement of sales at the store level. Oversees the organization's sales and business development projects for assigned territory; advises the leadership team on sales matters. Creates and customizes organizational methods and procedures for sales production reports.

Participates in planning and overseeing business development and marketing initiatives for the enterprise. May be responsible for the analysis and implementation of preferred marketing channels for assigned region. Nurtures the relationships of the local employee partners and health care systems.

Leads evaluations of the business performance of the regional sales function. Promotes a team culture that balances individual initiative and team collaboration and sharing of successes.

Develops goals for assigned regional stores for business growth and retention of members. Develops or enhances sales practices intended to improve sales ability at the store level.

Assists in training sales and business development specialist that are in store. Reviews and ensures compliance with relevant organizational and legal policies and procedures.

This role will be responsible for building relationships with employers and health care organizations to educate them on Profile Sanford to increase membership base in select locations. This position will cover our South Region and be based in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent management experience.

Minimum of four years' experience in sales or related field required.

The employee must have a current valid driver's license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category I drivers. All Category 1 and 2 drivers must have MVR reports that do not contain unacceptable driving offenses or accidents as outlined by Sanford Insurance Carrier section of the policy. If applicable, must be able to obtain state contractors license.

Partner with THD Associates to establish long-term relationships and grow the business with the Pro Contractors. Create brand awareness and penetration through training, facilitating, selling, and advising. Partner with THD for timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to Contractors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Achieve sales and profit plan by controlling expenses, working capital, inventory, shrinkage and growing net contribution. * Prospect new Pro business within the store with continuous follow-up to drive additional sales. * Manage on-going Contractor and THD relationships. Advise customers of products / brands, including proper usage, features, and benefits that are best for the project. * Focus on customer service by ensuring that service standards are maintained and customer issues are quickly and efficiently resolved. Facilitate will-call services in conjunction with Pro Desk Associates. * Manage the delivery of products to customer sites and may occasionally be required to deliver product to Contractors. * Maintain an understanding of local market operations based on selling habits and customer base to increase sales. * Ensure customer orders meet all specifications. Conduct paint and/or stain color matching and making product recommendations to customers (Dot Cards Maintenance) and be the resident Color Matching expert to ensure color accuracy. * Point person for Behr Pro Reps and Pro Contractors' needs and inquiries. * Maintain current knowledge of inventory levels, adjust inventory as needed to support on-going jobs with THD and/or in store rep to make any inventory adjustments. * Expedite the resolution of customer problems/complaints which may include coordination with the Technical Services Team. * Promote sundry items to complement paint products * Collaborate with all appropriate departments (Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Customer Service, etc.) to meet and exceed sales goals and report information as necessary. * Ensure paperwork and delivery documents are properly executed, including managing and maintaining Contractor's files, jobs, colors, and projects. * Abide by all company policies and procedures and maintain a safe and ethical work environment JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Related sales and/or customer service experience and/or training in a commercial coatings environment Sales, retail, or customer service experience with previous experience in a paint store or big box retail store KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to follow oral or written instructions; read and acknowledge completion of work orders Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Knowledge of MSA Office Suites and/or software applications related to job functions Ability to speak Spanish (in certain geographic regions) may be required. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
