PALFINGER is searching for a Regional Sales Manager to identify, establish and grow key accounts in the USA by developing a market strategy and analysis of vertical customer segments. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop full market analysis of product portfolio, identifying vertical market segments

  • Determine total available market (TAM) & product available market (PAM) per product line

  • Research and determine opportunities for product innovation and development

  • Drive and execute all phases of business development life cycle

  • Develop product expertise, understanding of value proposition and competitive positioning

  • Develop and perform to sales goals with a focus on growing market share

  • Provide sales reporting and forecasting

Qualifications Needed:

  • 5-7 years business development experience in durable goods manufacturing

  • Experience developing vertical market/customer segment growth strategies

  • Experience and desire to execute full life cycle of sales process

  • Strong desire to learn and provide a consultative approach to selling

  • Strong technical acumen and ability to learn technical specifications

  • A track record of sales leadership and accomplishment

  • Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and support teams

  • Ability to forecast and report on sales pipeline
