Your Role:

The Regional Sales Manager will develop business through existing and new clients in The Northeast US.

Your Opportunity:

  • Maintain and develop the existing client base through regional marketing and direct sales activities

  • Identify, qualify and develop new opportunities through prospecting and networking

  • Manage and maintain your region's sales pipeline and target key accounts and vertical markets for development

  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets and other regional objectives established by the International Sales Director

  • Provide monthly and quarterly sales forecasts

  • Manage the day to day activities of sales personnel dedicated to your region. This includes inside sales representatives and sales engineers.

  • Consistently achieve and/or exceed your assigned quotas and revenue objectives

  • Utilize channel sales resources in your region as necessary

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of experience directly relating to this job

  • Ability to take on a consultative style when presenting ideas and products

  • Competency with sales tracking tools

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

  • Must be detail oriented and capable of accurate work with minimal supervision

VIEW JOBS 11/2/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-31T00:00 The role of the Regional Security Lead (RSL) is to own Avanade's security business in the Northeast. The RSL is customer facing and will play an active role in transforming our client's Security. on their Microsoft platforms through designing and implementing Microsoft Security technologies on-premise and in the cloud. The Security Lead is responsible for leading the development of information security architectural standards and ensuring technology initiatives are implemented within the framework to make our client's environments more secure. The Security Lead is accountable for securing enterprise information by identifying network and application security requirements, planning, implementing and testing security controls and procedures. Day-to-day, you will: Build the security practice within the region, working with sales / business development teams, security consultants, and business leaders to develop and build the security practice. Act as a trusted advisor for Avanade clients, recommending and identifying opportunities to increase and address security considerations. Work closely with enterprise architects to identify and mitigate risks, perform security reviews, design top tier security practices, and deliver strategic, innovative cloud based security offerings. Work with practice leaders to implement security components into existing offerings and engagements to increase the value proposition and impact of Avanade offerings. Support implementation teams on the assessment of the security status of their programs, identifying actions and steps to secure the project across the product lifecycle. Develop metrics that demonstrate current risk state, indicators of progress, and business alignment for these activities. Qualifications Years of Experience: 8+ years of increasingly diverse / complex experience in a product management role Management Experience: 4+ years of management experience required Education: Undergraduate degree required, preferably business, marketing, or related degrees; MBAs and computer science degrees considered highly valuable Other Skills/Knowledge: The ideal candidate must have strong foundation across security offerings and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to key stakeholders along with experience with the following: Architecture and security management for both on-premises and cloud-based environments Privileged access management technologies Subject matter expertise & domain knowledge for key frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 or NIST Creating security framework, SIRRP process and/or forensic handling methods Knowledge of host hardening, auditing, logging and monitoring, network security, SEIM deployments, security analytics, anomaly detections, PKI Certifications: CISSP, CISM, Microsoft, or other relevant certifications (preferred) Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft security technologies and strategy Proven implementation of cloud security models, particularly identity, network, and encryption Program management skills and solution support for security transformation/implementation programs Business case development skills for justifying & funding security programs and investment To supplement the technical knowledge and project delivery experience, the successful candidate will come from a Consulting background with good customer facing skills, the ability to gather customer requirements and produce high quality written deliverables. As a consultant, you must be willing to travel to our client locations as needed. You likely have a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, information technology, or a similar field.
