Position Overview: Samsung and Dacor Digital Appliances is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with key retail partners, driving sales, and promoting our cutting-edge digital appliance products. This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and a strong background in sales.

Position Overview: Samsung and Dacor Digital Appliances is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with key retail partners, driving sales, and promoting our cutting-edge digital appliance products. This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and a strong background in sales.

Role and Responsibilities

Account Management:

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key retail accounts in the Minneapolis region.

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Sales Growth:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for Samsung digital appliances.

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

  • Partner with marketing and product teams to create promotional strategies that support sales objectives.

Performance Analysis:

  • Track and analyze sales performance and market trends to guide decision-making.

  • Provide regular reports on account performance, sales metrics, and market insights.

Product Expertise:

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Samsung's digital appliance products and industry trends.

  • Conduct product training sessions and presentations for retail partners and their sales teams.

Problem Resolution:

  • Quickly address and resolve any issues or concerns from retail partners.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and support.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the regional sales team, marketing, and supply chain departments to ensure the effective implementation of sales strategies.

  • Participate in regional and national sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

  • 6-8 years of experience in sales account management, preferably in the consumer electronics or digital appliances sector.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ideal candidate will reside in Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN metro area.

  • Must be able to travel 50%-60% within the territory.
