Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with Branch Operations Manager to meet established sales goals:
Communicate goals and objectives to sales staff
Advise on key accounts.
Consult and educate Sales Executives regarding the sales process, transaction structuring, product specifications, contract preparation and new finance program introductions.
Determine current status of sales and assist in resolving problems in the respective areas.
Individualize market development strategies to maximize profitability and customer penetration.
Work with the Marketing Team to analyze CRM data and properly target accounts.
Identify product requirements and competitive conditions within each local market.
Monitor and analyze dealership practices regarding sales activities and inventory planning.
Select, coach, and mentor sales staff
Partner with local management and the Human Resources team in the selection, hiring, and training of new Associates as well as the ongoing management and mentorship of sales staff.
Partner with the Corporate Training Department to further the development of staff, which includes active participation and reinforcement of training initiatives and principles.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of solid heavy duty equipment experience required.
Ability to modify communication style to negotiate and communicate with a variety of customers - internally and externally.
Demonstrated sense of urgency, focused on follow through and closing deals.
Intermediate computer skills, CRM experience required.
Disciplined, with good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to interact effectively with challenging customers.
Demonstrated sense of urgency and focused on follow through.
Reliable attendance required.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and over the phone.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
