The Regional Sales Manager will drive market share and profitability by coaching and mentoring our customer focused sales team, leveraging the JX brand, and building strong relationships within the industry. #jxjobs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with Branch Operations Manager to meet established sales goals:

  • Communicate goals and objectives to sales staff

  • Advise on key accounts.

  • Consult and educate Sales Executives regarding the sales process, transaction structuring, product specifications, contract preparation and new finance program introductions.

  • Determine current status of sales and assist in resolving problems in the respective areas.

  • Individualize market development strategies to maximize profitability and customer penetration.

  • Work with the Marketing Team to analyze CRM data and properly target accounts.

  • Identify product requirements and competitive conditions within each local market.

  • Monitor and analyze dealership practices regarding sales activities and inventory planning.

  • Select, coach, and mentor sales staff

  • Partner with local management and the Human Resources team in the selection, hiring, and training of new Associates as well as the ongoing management and mentorship of sales staff.

  • Partner with the Corporate Training Department to further the development of staff, which includes active participation and reinforcement of training initiatives and principles.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years of solid heavy duty equipment experience required.

  • Ability to modify communication style to negotiate and communicate with a variety of customers - internally and externally.

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, focused on follow through and closing deals.

  • Intermediate computer skills, CRM experience required.

  • Disciplined, with good organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to interact effectively with challenging customers.

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and focused on follow through.

  • Reliable attendance required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and over the phone.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
