At Honeywell Industrial Safety, we are currently looking for Regional Sales Managers for all our lines of business. We have multiple roles available to sell our solutions.

The Regional Sales Manager's role is to:

  • Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers.

  • Build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products and solutions.

  • Define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives.

  • Identify opportunities and build credibility with customers

  • Utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers.

  • Increase overall performance of the organization by creating strong customer relationships and new customer partnerships within your organization

  • Develop and maximize Honeywell presence and market share in designated accounts and territory

  • Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Sales Organization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment

Position Responsibilities: * Build up and maintain a Distribution Channel in specific region or geographical areas. * Assists Distributors with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. * Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets. * Become actively involved in new Distributor's sales orientation and sales training programs; assist distributors with contract negotiations, closing the sale and developing marketing plans for contract accounts. * Assist with the planning of sales exhibits, attend trade shows and participate in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs. Coordinate and assist in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation. * Remain current on new products, services and other general information of interest to customers. Explore competitive activity and develop new methods for assisting distributors in attaining new accounts. * Troubleshoot problems regarding products, answer questions from distributors and handle complaints. * Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Position Qualifications Requirements: * Five plus years of sales experience in the TX and/or LA HVAC markets * Excellent formal presentation skills before both small and large groups * Experience managing large territories and diverse product offerings * Coaching/mentoring experience with less senior sales staff both internally and externally * Travel is expected to be 50% Preferred: * Bachelor's degree in Business or related field of study * Experience utilizing sale tools such as Salesforce or similar CRMs Nortek Air Management and its divisions offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
