The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing sales activities with key accounts within designated territories.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build, lead, guide and mentor sales team to successfully meet company objectives.
Set and achieve sales goals by establishing and communicating business strategies and targets.
Cultivate customer relationships, deliver effective proposals and negotiate agreements to capture profitable new business.
Successfully negotiate challenging and/or urgent business issues through interaction with leadership team both internally and externally.
Create and maintain organizational budget.
Oversee professional management of employees, including recruitment, training and performance management.
Implement and managing all MTS manufacturing locations in building customer and employee relations.
Maximize DNOW's ROOA, develop and lead of employees, provide customer service excellence.
Provide and safe work environment with zero accident goals.
Communicate effectively within the Region and Corporate; operations, support groups and management on activity, sales, opportunities and market information.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management preferred.
5+ years' management experience in related field
Proven track record of managing accounts with revenue growth
50% Travel is required
Very strong supervisory skills and experience
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Proven analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ERP systems
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external partners.
Current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
