The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing sales activities with key accounts within designated territories.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build, lead, guide and mentor sales team to successfully meet company objectives.

  • Set and achieve sales goals by establishing and communicating business strategies and targets.

  • Cultivate customer relationships, deliver effective proposals and negotiate agreements to capture profitable new business.

  • Successfully negotiate challenging and/or urgent business issues through interaction with leadership team both internally and externally.

  • Create and maintain organizational budget.

  • Oversee professional management of employees, including recruitment, training and performance management.

  • Implement and managing all MTS manufacturing locations in building customer and employee relations.

  • Maximize DNOW's ROOA, develop and lead of employees, provide customer service excellence.

  • Provide and safe work environment with zero accident goals.

  • Communicate effectively within the Region and Corporate; operations, support groups and management on activity, sales, opportunities and market information.

  • Handles special projects, as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management preferred.

  • 5+ years' management experience in related field

  • Proven track record of managing accounts with revenue growth

  • 50% Travel is required

  • Very strong supervisory skills and experience

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ERP systems

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
