Position: Regional Sales Manager Business Unit: Crane Merchandising Systems

Segment: Vending Location(s): Remote office in assigned territory

Reports To: VP Sales North America Department: Sales

Key Responsibilities and Measurement Methods:

  • Responsible for driving sales through all channels and key accounts achieving assigned sales and revenue budgets for the full Crane product portfolio created for the vending market.

  • Measurement: Annual Plan by Account, SFDC metrics

  • Responsible developing & implementing account strategies for key full line operator and regional distribution accounts within an assigned and specific area, and for the implementation of all company Sales and Marketing strategies for an assigned area, all designed to build strategic short and long term customer relationships.

  • Measurement: Territory Plans, SFDC reports, Distributor Business Reviews

  • Responsible for assisting the Director of Sales, Strategic Accounts (DSSA) with sales and service presentations that are capable of communicating an overall view of Company products, creative services, and new technology advancement as part of the account strategies as developed by the DSSA for the region.

  • Measurement: SFDC reports

  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the customer Sales Force records, including the full range of Sales Excellence processes: weekly funnel management, territory plan management, implementation of standard work practices, Miller Heiman tools, and the coordination of Territory Team activities.

  • Measurement: Territory Plans, SFDC metrics & reports

Additional Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for working with VP Sales and various functional Directors on the implementation and execution in the field of customer specific sales, marketing and service programs.

  • Responsible for all sales presentations to all customers within the assigned territory and communicating an overall view of Company products, creative services, and new technology advancement.

  • Responsible for providing our customers with the highest level of creative service leadership, project and business management and problem solving capabilities. This includes the expedient internal solution of customer concerns in order to maximize customer satisfaction.

  • Responsible for managing regional distributors and cultivating that channel to achieve growth objectives, maximize customer service experience for Company's small & medium operators.

  • Responsible for the maintenance of existing business and the development of new and sustaining business.

  • Responsible for implementing all Company Operating Procedures and Policies throughout the manager's assigned area.

  • Responsible for annual and periodical sales forecasting and budgeting for all accounts within an assigned and specific area.

  • Responsible for reporting on a weekly basis all key business activities performed on a daily basis.

  • Responsible for achieving customer satisfaction on the execution of all support functions.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree

  • Related experience within the industry or a supplier related industry.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision in an environment which requires strong teamwork and cross-functional interaction.

VIEW JOBS 11/29/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-27T00:00 Position: Program Manager Reports to: Vice President, General Manager Location: Atlanta, GA Job Summary The Program Manager is responsible for all phases of a program from concept through development and commercialization. As a member of the Crane Merchandising Systems Team, he or she oversees projects that will deliver enhancements to our equipment platforms using the NPD (New Product Development) lifecycle. This position will be accountable to deliver the project objectives, ROI, and transition into production. This position is expected to manage the project schedule to ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost, scope, risks, change control and communication. The Program Manager will report directly to the VPGM with a dotted line into Engineering. The Program Manager will provide and ensure good project management practices are employed throughout the lifecycle of the project. Overall Responsibilities and Duties * Manage all tasks of several mechanical, electronics, and or embedded software systems-based projects through the complete product development lifecycle. * Develop schedules for projects using Crane Merchandising tools and best practices, based on either agile or waterfall lifecycle models. Be a champion for both the NPD tollgate process and the agile software development lifecycle, depending on which process the project is following. * Shepard our PMO office by defining the standards and the standard work for all programs; proactively owning and driving the standard and continuous improvement to our processes. * Use business objectives and engineering analysis to define overall timelines for projects. Create detailed schedules by breaking down high level deliverables into granular tasks that can be accurately estimated. Build consensus on schedules based on VP of engineering, product manager, development lead and individual team member inputs. * Ensure cross-functional team performance to schedule through a regular cadence (daily or weekly) of progress review with appropriate follow-up actions to ensure on time delivery of the project. Ensure that progress reports made by team members are accurate and reliable. * Communicate effectively with senior management, cross functional peers and the development team * Proactively identify and manage gaps in scheduled tasks, schedule misses or slippage by identifying early when tasks are off track, and working with team members and functional managers to develop strategies to correct. * Calculate and budget project expenses and capital requirements; track and manage project spend to maintain budget expectations. * As needed perform other duties/projects as assigned COMPETENCIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS * High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities * Excellent influencing skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * An intense focus and drive towards continuous improvement * Ability to establish credibility and be decisive and able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities * Results and people oriented with sound judgment—ability to balance other business considerations * Team player – able to work effectively in a matrix organization * Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing * Up to 50% travel SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, management or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. * Mechanical or Electrical engineering training and or experience highly valued. * 5+ years product development in a stage-gate driven product development environment (leadership or individual contributor role). * 5+ years direct project management is strongly preferred * PMP certification in project management or Agile project management is strongly preferred.
