Job Description

Position Summary: Regional Sales Mgr. Central Territory

Job Description: The Regional Sales Manager, Central Territory, position for AFFLINK is an outside sales position within one of four regions across the US.

This is a commission-compensated position, with an established book of business that ensures a base draw each year. The base draw is generated from existing revenue per region, with a minimum base draw of $125,000 for year one. Commissions are earned via securing NEW distributor members for AFFLIINK and growing Strategic Brands sales to distributor members that help facilitate their growth via enhanced business. Additionally, AFFLINK will cover all budgeted travel & entertainment expenses for the position and provide a robust benefits package.

Required Qualifications

KEY JOB ACTIVITIES:

1.Identify and recruit potential distributor targets. Present the benefits of AFFLINK leading to full member status within the AFFLIK distributor association.

2.Expand the sales of AFFLINK strategic brands within the commercial markets.

3.Work with the Internal Business Development team to maintain and enhance an ongoing relationship with the assigned Distributor Members.

4.Work with distributor sales representatives at targeted end users to secure additional strategic brand sales.

5.Call on assigned PFG OpCo's and work with (NFS) Non-Food Specialist to expand strategic brand sales within the Opco customer base.

6.Develop a quarterly business plan to ensure annual targets and expectations will be achieved.

7.Maintains strong working product knowledge, current product literature, and selling skills.

8.Attends sales meetings, seminars, and other designated meetings, and works with vendor representatives.

9.Recommend product simplification/consolidation to eliminate unprofitable items from the sales line.



  1. Document all communication with Distributor Members, Preferred Suppliers, or Strategic Account Customers in the CRM tool.

  2. Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with a concentration in marketing, business administration, or professional selling.

Must have a minimum of five years sales experience, preferably in distribution sales

We will accept a combination of education and sales experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Position Location (Base)

The target base location for this position is Chicago, IL., and the surrounding areas. The position will report to Afflink, which has its Headquarters located in Tuscaloosa, Al.
