We sell in virtually every market around the world directly to OEMs and also to retail partners like Bass Pro Shops, Amazon, West Marine, and Walmart.

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to fill a Regional Sales Manager role. The Regional Sales Manager will manage key Distributor and Dealer accounts. This role will contribute significantly to year over year sales growth and operational improvement through growing existing business, finding new business and representing Navico Group within their assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales objectives while maintaining acceptable gross margins.

  • Grow market share of brands and products assigned for territory.

  • Establish and manage yearly customer sales targets and provide the company with accurate sales and inventory forecasts.

  • Plan and execute account sales plans and strategies as part of overall company strategy.

  • Establish and maximize strong dealer and customer relationships.

  • Assist brands in product development, pricing and OEM, retail and wholesale incentive programs.

  • Carry-out brand-specific training programs for dealers when required.

  • Provide input into product materials, including catalogs, brochures, website content, boat shows and other marketing events.

  • Assist brands and dealers with event planning and execution, including dealer shows, open-houses and other like events.

  • Create dealer-specific marketing plans for each territory in the region.

  • Support communication across Brunswick business units

  • Provide company with accurate and timely competitive information.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Meaningful experience in sales or sales management, preferably in the marine or fishing industry.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing distribution channels and dealer networks.

  • Strong analytic skills to use data/internal tools to help Dealers increase sales and profits

  • Experience with account management and customer call planning.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint e-marketing skills required.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Understanding of basic financial statements (Income, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.)

  • Proficiency with problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional level.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities,

  • Willingness to travel up to 80%.
