Sr. Strategic Account Manager.

This leader will manage strategic accounts in the Detroit area focused on the automotive industry in order to grow sales in the Great Lakes region. The successful candidate will have a strong track record driving sales of semiconductors to large accounts (Automotive Tier Ones). S/he will be results oriented, driven by excellence and work well in a matrix environment with peers in sales, product development, marketing, services and supply chain. This Account Manager should be able to influence at all levels throughout of the customer organization and internally to Marvell.

S/he will have the capacity to guide and develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry and distill this understanding into simple, straightforward Marvell solutions that make a clear difference to the customer's business. Responsibilities include: Developing, managing and maintaining new and existing account relationships while delivering on aggressive sales objectives and Design Wins.

Proven skills in creating and executing strategy; creative thinking; problem solving; providing thought leadership and managing relationships with key executives. Capability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization. Sr. Strategic Account Manager.

Education - BS in Engineering/Computer Science Experience- 8-15 years of Technical Semiconductor Selling Experience- Strong selling skills to all levels of our customers' organizations Strong English communication skills both written and verbal. Regional Sales Manager that has senior management, engineering and executive level relationships at key customers Experience in navigating a multinational corporate environment to be effective in customer program execution and roadmap alignment Experience communicating key customer requirements to a US based Semiconductor company #LI-JS22 #GLDR

Products involved: High speed data connectors and cable assemblies, Ethernet connectors and cable assemblies. CORE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for these activities through daily collaboration with sales, engineering and manufacturing facilities. * customer quoting * sample part requests * drawings requests * load part numbers into the SAP system * lead production activities to support customer build event and part support * assist with forecasting activities. * Work with sales to develop a process/plan to track and monitor OEM, Tier program launches, build timing and sample builds to support each. * Work interactively with product management, engineering, manufacturing and sales to foster a highly responsive team environment dedicated to providing customer specific solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner * Proactively understand, stay current and disseminate market and industry intelligence to the wider product team * Drive process improvements, efficiencies, and best practice knowledge sharing * Support the Product Manager in the New Product Development Process (PDP). * Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
