Job Description Job Description Job Summary The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving ArborWorks’ growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, performing market research, and executing strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts. This individual will oversee aspects of prospecting, account strategy, and outreach efforts to strengthen ArborWorks’ market presence and expand its portfolio of utility and vegetation management clients.

Responsibilities & Qualifications Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development & Prospecting Identify and pursue new business opportunities in utility vegetation management and related markets. Conduct outreach to prospective clients through calls, emails, in-person meetings, and attendance at industry events.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads to support growth targets. Develop tailored presentations and proposals that highlight ArborWorks’ value proposition and expertise. Attend industry events and represents ArborWorks to the industry in a professional capacity. 2.

Market Research & Strategy Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities. Develop and evaluate strategies to move into adjacent industries and provide new services Analyze data to determine target accounts and prioritize strategic entry points into new markets. Work closely with the CGO to design and implement growth strategies aligned with ArborWorks’ objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and refine approaches for prospecting and engaging with potential clients. 3. Collaboration on Strategic Initiatives Partner with the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts to identify bidding opportunities and craft winning strategies. Participate in the preparation and submission of RFPs, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.

Collaborate with operations and project management teams to understand the capacity and capabilities to deliver on client needs. 4. Account Management & Client Engagement Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in target accounts. Facilitate initial engagement meetings and ongoing communication to deepen client relationships.

Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts. 5. Reporting & Metrics Track and report on progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales and growth. Utilize CRM tools to document client interactions, track sales activities, and manage the pipeline effectively.

Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, challenges, and areas of opportunity. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management. Valid Driver’s License with clean DMV record, per AW insurance requirements General knowledge of vegetation management principles and processes preferred Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.

Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Pipedrive) Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Ability to travel regularly to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct on-site visits.
