Job Responsibilities and Requirements
The Regional Sales Leader is responsible for sales, support and service of SmartChoice Small Group products through Master General Agents (MGAs) and their broker/producer relationships within his/her assigned territory. This position could be filled in Philadelphia, Dallas, Kansas City, Boston or Chicago.
This position also plays an integral role in effective and consistent National Account reporting.
Sales
Responsible for sales of Company's SmartChoice small group program achieving overall premium and policy goals.
Responsible for the recruitment, development and maintenance of an MGA distribution within his/her sales territory.
Responsible for supporting MGA SmartChoice marketing and sales efforts to MGA broker/producer bases.
Will assist in providing service to MGAs, brokers and policyholders wherever necessary.
Operations
Adherence to the established Field and Home Office administrative procedures and underwriting guidelines
Provide guidance on elevated service concerns to policyholders and brokers as necessary
Accurately and timely record all lead information in the company provided CRM including all call activity, follow up and opportunities developed
Complete, analyze and submit sales and production reports to senior leadership
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum five years' experience in employee group benefit sales experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Excellent presentation skills. Proven ability to present technical information to small audiences required.
Proven sales ability as demonstrated by previous, quantifiable results.
Proficiency in Microsoft programs including Excel and Word.
Ability to Travel: Up to 25%
Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
