Cadence Technologies provides sanitary equipment, instrumentation, and services to the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Job Summary

We are currently looking for an Outside Sales professional to take ownership of the Alabama and Mississippi territory and expand our presence within that region. This role is responsible for selling products, fielding questions, and resolving customer complaints. This role will also service existing accounts, establish new accounts and achieve the objectives set for each account.


  • Interface with our internal and external clients and well as distributor representatives

  • Gives sales presentations, submits orders, and submits activity and results reports to leadership

  • Generates a direct meeting with concerned stakeholders

  • Conduct sales calls to clients and prospects to make them aware of the values we drive/ solutions we provide

  • Negotiate and close profitable sales deals

  • Support inside sales team in developing clients and help them to provide technically and commercially feasible proposal to clients in territory

  • Ensure market coverage and product / solution positioning

  • May develop matrix of practice quota

  • Revise QTRLY Forecasts, plan, meet and execute target for each customer in your account package

  • Review and Evaluate Terms and Conditions

  • Identify Project Risk

  • Attend forecast reviews


  • 2+ years' experience selling sanitary process equipment and parts preferred

  • Proven sales and negotiation ability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to travel upwards of 80%- 90% regionally


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related is highly preferred
