The Regional Sales Director Role
The Sales Organization at Qlik is the primary connection to our customers and prospects; focusing on driving revenue in new accounts and expanding our presence in the territory's existing customer. The teams work geographically or are industry focused.
Here's how you'll be making an impact:
Hire, direct and manage Territory and Named Account Executives for region
Lead and coach regional sales team in developing prospects, qualifying opportunities, and closing sales throughout your sales region
Coach and mentor account executives to apply and utilize the Qlik sales strategy and methodology
Ensure that a strong pipeline is built and managed throughout the region
Meet or exceed revenue targets as directed by corporate initiatives
Prospecting for new clients and partners, building a cohesive team including corporate marketing, pre- and post-sales consultants and account executives
Business and technical lead role in the sales process for all customer engagements and deals.
We're looking for a teammate with:
Have a proven track record of meeting regional targets
Comfortable working in a complex business environment, which include obtaining buy-in from senior decision makers.
Can demonstrate the ability to bring deals to closure and assist account executives as needed
Have Enterprise awareness of sales related contacts.
10+ years of successful sales experience and ideally 3+ years of Enterprise regional sales management experience
Experience of selling data analytics into large and mid-size companies
Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing expertise
Strong interpersonal, leadership and managerial qualities
Flexibility, agility and change management skills
Strong negotiation competence
An outgoing, focused and organized person with a strong will to succeed
University/college degree or equivalent experience

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $175,000 - 190,000 per year. This position is eligible for an annual commission within a range of $175,000 - 190,000 subject to meeting targets set forth in a sales compensation plan. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate's location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
