We have an exciting multi-faceted investment based sales opportunity working with selected Broker Dealer Intermediaries and Insurance Carriers to drive the distribution of mutual funds, ETFs, model portfolios, and subaccounts offered by both Fidelity Investments and Fidelity Institutional AM. In addition to offering those products, you will also deliver Fidelity's vast Thought Leadership content. The primary clients are insurance carriers offering various annuities. For these clients, responsibility is only for the underlying investments and not the insurance product itself - as a result, no insurance license is required. Additional clients are selected broker/dealer financial advisors who utilize both wealth management and protection products within their clients' portfolios.
Your responsibilities include:
Drive investment sales of Fidelity Advisor mutual funds, ETFs, and model portfolios at selected broker/dealer clients
Grow underlying investment sales of Fidelity VIP and sub-advised funds through our external Insurance client wholesalers via various types of annuity contracts.
Work directly with financial advisors to grow sales across our insurance clients' platforms.
Increase market share by delivering outstanding client added services.
Effectively develop strong partnerships in local markets within territory.
Assist financial advisors on retirement planning topics.
Serve as subject matter expert on various thought leadership content including critical components of retirement income planning.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor's Degree required
Series 7 and 63 required
CIMA or CFA a plus
Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience working within the Financial Service Industry
Experience with and ability to represent multiple product offerings including: Mutual Funds, model portfolios, ETFs, SMAs, Index Funds, alternative investments, variable sub-accounts and retirement solutions or comparable sales experience.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, decision making and multi-tasking abilities
Ability to stay organized, be inventive, and prioritize ongoing sales opportunities
Excellent interpersonal skills that translate into a positive client experience
Passion for sales and the ability to uncover and qualify new opportunities

Effective consultative sales and presentation skills
As a Regional Sales Consultant (Hybrid Wholesaler) your primary responsibility will be supporting and driving sales through selected Broker Dealer Intermediaries and Insurance Carriers in your territory. You'll work daily to help provide valuable market insight, portfolio construction mentorship and investment product solutions to financial advisors and their firms. In your role you will be an important part of the FI Intermediary Investment & Sales distribution team and will be responsible for phone and virtual-based sales interactions, along with making in-person sales calls, partnering with your specialist teams to drive new business, retain assets and grow market share. This role will require 25% travel and is based in Westlake, TX or Smithfield, RI.
