Regional Recruiter Ii-Store Operations (Contract)

We're searching for a motivated individual to join us as a Regional Recruiter to share our story with potential influencers and applicants. The Regional Recruiter will be responsible for primary oversight and management of sourcing and recruiting activities supporting up to 90 stores. The Regional Recruiter will focus on talent sourcing, candidate screening, networking, relationship building, hiring events, achieving monthly hiring goals, and maintain applicant tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Organize and attend hiring events both virtually and in-person

• Deliver compelling presentations to influencers and potential applicants

• Clearly articulate the Discount Tire mission, vision, and operations career path

• Work directly with store managers to develop creative solutions to meet staffing needs

• Create and maintain talent pools around stores with schools, organizations, communities, etc.

• Meet weekly with regional leadership to understand recruiting priorities and staffing requirements

• Creates reports and analyzes performance data and metrics to improve performance and communicate key insights to stakeholders

• Initiates contact with appropriate resources to generate more applicants and increase brand awareness included but not limited to social media campaigns and targeted media advertisements

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of progressive recruiting and sourcing experience

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, respect, and gratitude towards others

• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to influence decisions build insights

• Demonstrated experience in advising business leaders on sourcing and recruiting strategies

• Proven experience in social media recruiting with a strong drive for positive conversion rates

• Experience in delivering compelling presentations to inspire, attract, and recruit potential candidates

• Ability to communicate, influence decisions, collaborate, build rapport, and develop business relations with store managers, support personnel, and executive staff

• Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor, and work well independently

• Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude

• Proven success in developing and executing passive and active sourcing strategies to attract top talent by using internet and in-person recruiting events

• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and candidate communication/outreach

• In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential

• Bachelor's degree preferred or five-years of Discount Tire Store Assistant Manager experience required.
