As a member of Cargill Protein's Business Operations & Supply Chain team, Regional Protein BOSC Team Business Training Leads are accountable for establishing and maintaining early career and team training experiences that enhance the effectiveness of our BOSC team members. This position is responsible for management of the regional/local internship/co-op and associate programs in partnership with the facility management team.
In addition, the Regional Protein BOSC Team Business Training Lead plays a key role in the coordination of the experience initiatives across the business. This could include but is not limited to onboarding management, local leadership program coordination, execution of production training activities, employee roundtable facilitation, facility visitor processes, etc.

Manage workstation preparations including technology requests, acquisition of technology tools needed, PPE sourcing, etc.
Establish and maintain communication plan with early career professionals for your region through transition to workplace during transition from school to new location
Establish training plans and schedule for interns/co-ops/associates with manager and confirm approval with each facility leadership team
Introduce training plan to associate, outlining expectations and goals for program
Administration of facility onboarding procedures through providing team training, establishing consistent objectives and expectations and creating standard operating processes across facilities

Lead planning and placement of associate in next-level role following completion of training with facility and functional leaders
Support facility management team in facilitation of business-wide review of associate talent pool (bi-annual/function)
Optimizing training processes for efficiency
Assist in coordination of intern/co-op/associate forecast requests between facility management team and function leads
Assess training needs and establish/execute leadership training plans for facilities in region through identifying improvement opportunities for each leadership group

Execution of weekly touch base meetings with each intern/co-op/associate to confirm learning objectives are being met
Facilitation of discussions centered around career development and next steps
Provide guidance of mentorship as needed including connectivity within Cargill for resources and information
Provide coaching for management team regarding experience expectations
Establish consistent onboarding plans for facilities within region in partnership with broader business
Establish and execute employee roundtable experience targeting improvement opportunities for facilities
Create and lead consistent visitor experience process for facilities in region2
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Production Management, Animal Science, Agriculture Business, etc.
3 years in training position or similar role
Experience working in production team environment
Knowledge of learning and development best practices
Ability to travel up to 30%.
