Summary:

1.Responsible for operations of the Ronald McDonald Family Room (RMFR) at Covenant HealthCare. 1. Serves as first point of contact for community engagement, corporate partnerships and hospital relations.

Responsibilities:

Program Management 1. Responsible for operations of the Ronald McDonald Family Room (RMFR) at Covenant HealthCare. a.

Work with Covenant HealthCare's Volunteer services Services team to coordinate and supervise volunteers to accomplish daily family services tasks. i. Greet guest families and help them navigate amenities offered. ii. Ensure proper use of sleeping and wellness rooms and subsequent cleaning protocols are followed so these spaces are ready for the next guest. iii.

Restock hospitality items, linens, towels, snacks and beverages as needed. b. Work with Covenant HealthCare's volunteer Volunteer services Services team to co-train volunteers. c. Fill in on daily family services tasks if a volunteer is not present. d.

Compile and record RMFR usage and guest services data. e. Keep accurate and current room inventory, guest lists and communication logs. f. Monitor the RMFR for maintenance and repairs and report it to hospital facilities staff. g.

Encourage RMFR guests' respect of program guidelines and coordinate resolutions. h. Clearly relay daily needs, rules, eligibility requirements and general information about RMHC and the RMFR. i. Maintain a consistent presence within the Family Room to develop appropriate relationships with families to identify support and maintenance needs. j.

Report safety incidents to Executive Director and appropriate hospital contacts. k. Manage stock and impact of the Hospitality Cart. l. Actively monitor emerging needs, successes and opportunities for improvement. m.

Stay apprised of and adhere to hospital policies and procedures as it may relate to RMFR and hospitality cart programs. Community Relations 1. Serves as first point of contact for community engagement, corporate partnerships and hospital relations. a.

Build community relationships for program support - financial and in-kind. b. Assist hospital unit staff with guest services requests or issues. c. Welcome guests and visitors of the RMFR by providing tours and charity information to prospective supporters and hospital staff. 2.

Attend local networking and community engagement events as directed/approved by the Executive Director. 3.

Provide prospective and active partnership and engagement opportunities with the Executive Director and the Community Outreach Coordinator to foster and facilitate relationships. 4. Provide family services, volunteer, sponsor, donor and other updates to the Executive Director and Community Outreach Coordinator for social media and press release content.

Administrative 1. Meet with the Executive Director/Covenant Volunteer Services Manager at least weekly to review and organize tasks, provide input, ask questions, brainstorm, etc. 2. Maintain stock of marketing materials. 3.

Provide receipts and donation records to RMHCMM staff for accounting processing. 4. Attentive and timely email, phone and in-person communication. Other Responsibilities 1.

Attend evening and weekend events as needed. 2. Travel to events and conferences as needed. 3. Other duties as assigned.

Experience working in a human services/agency related position, hospitality or customer service position. 2. Experience with managing a team of employees or volunteers. 3. Ability to handle many varied responsibilities on a daily basis. 4.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently. 5. Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment 6. Strong organization skills. 7.

Cheerful, compassionate, warm and welcoming personality. 8. Ability to maintain confidential information. 9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships within the community. 10.

Computer proficiency including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) at a minimum. 11.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 12. Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility and solution-orientation. 13.

Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal motor vehicle. Bachelors degree in business, hospitality, healthcare or related fields preferred. 3+ years relatable work experience in the above mentioned fields also considered.
