Who are we looking for?

The candidate will be responsible providing tactical and strategic product line support to commercial teams in the assigned geographic region, as well as, to global functional teams as needed. The primary responsibility of the Regional Product Manager (RPM) is to develop and execute a strategic plan by working collaboratively with fictional business unit (BU) partners (Commercial, R&D, Supply chain, Engineering, etc) to support the needs of the represented regions while delivering profitability in line with the global Circuit Board Assembly BU strategy.

What will you be doing?

  • Deployment of global Line of Business strategy in the assigned region(s).

  • Works with regional management to identify needs and to formulate regional product line objectives.

  • Communicate regional needs to Line of Business leader for prioritization and provide critical input into the global product line planning process.

  • Actively analyze the regional product line performance and work collaboratively with regional leadership to achieve established financial objectives

  • Support execution of CBA Business Unit objectives (Core and BTSO) and, where appropriate, lead the successful execution of L2 action plan KPIs

  • Secures key inputs from customers, OEM teams, other commercial team members and industry consortia that directly contributes to the product line technology roadmap (TRM) development and advancement.

  • Drives development of high impact selling tools supporting product line value propositions that can be effectively communicated through the commercial organization.

  • Champion the filling of regional product line gaps through development of compelling business cases that identify a justifiable path to profitability to receive global steering committee approval for investment.

  • Serve as business champion on new business development (NPD, ADP, TDP) projects accountable for the the completion of business cases, technical specifications and supporting of cross functional teams responsible for project execution.

  • Accelerate adoption of newly commercialized products.

  • Coordinate with Regional Marketing personnel to provide timely, day to day product line support to our commercial organization.

  • Establish and maintain regional product line priorities based on changing internal and external needs and expectations.

  • Define marketing communications plan inclusive of promotional activities, technical publications, sales force activities, and electronic media.

  • Perform other functions / duties as required.

Who are You?

  • Must be able to travel up to a maximum of 25% of working time globally and domestically.

  • Familiarity with the electronic assembly industry.

  • Comfortable analyzing large, complex data sets and familiarity with MS Excel pivot tables is preferred

  • Be a team member participating in a cross-functional team environment translating customer needs into technology solutions.

  • Possess leadership skills and the ability to drive project goals via influence on the organization

  • Must abide by all Company policies/procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations.

  • Thorough understanding of the Company's products and procedures.

  • Possess well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Address inquiries and resolve problems by using appropriate resources/other departments to achieve results/answers.

  • Present a professional attitude and handle confidential information according to non-disclosure guidelines.

  • Ability to work in a high paced and multi-tasking environment.

  • High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to speak, read and write English.

  • Well-organized and detail oriented.

  • Ability to interact professionally with internal customers at off-site AMG and divisional locations.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office

What competencies will you need?

Possess a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (i.e. engineering, sciences, etc.) from a four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training
