What's the role?
The MO Process Manager (Logistics) is responsible for tactical level problem solving, error proofing, continuous improvement, process compliance/discipline, and training deployment as it is developed by the HUB Warehouse Operational Excellence Group. This team member leads through influence while aiding the Regional Manager to meet the strategic plan for the respective region. This position will aid in the development of new, local best practices by utilizing extensive warehouse expertise, broad logistics business knowledge, and consulting with the HUB Warehouse Operational Excellence Team and external specialists. Critical deliverables of the role and associated execution plans of the direct/indirect teams are to drive quality improvements that support customer loyalty (e.g. reduce the customer complaint rates, increase inventory accuracy) and increase Warehouse Productivity (e.g. OPEX Costs % of Sales, Lines Per Hour); enable best in class warehouse performance and operational support for the logistics and sales teams; and generate warehouse network optimization plan to achieve consistent year over year productivity resulting in significant reduction of warehousing costs as percentage of net sales.
What does the role involve?
Assist regional warehouse team members with system or process support to ensure timely execution of transactions within our warehouse management system to satisfy customer requirements
Problem solve order level systematic issues, determining if it is system or process driven, capturing root causes, and developing long term solutions to eliminate repeated issues (Error Proofing)
Deploy operational excellence strategies for warehouse implementation; partner with HUB Warehouse Operational Excellence team and peer groups in the region (Transport, Materials, Services, Project Business, etc.)
Deploy warehouse regional strategy, leveraging warehouse network team, for optimizing storage capacity and improving team member productivity for both short term flexibility and long-term growth
Conduct training of new standardized processes and system applications resulting from projects; monitor effectiveness of training at user levels for adherence to new process / future best practice; approve training for areas that will have process changes due to system or process changes
Utilize SAP, Business Warehouse (BI), Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint to conduct analysis on a potential project's scope of opportunity and set target for improvement; following project execution, create, update, and distribute reports to measure success and impact of changes
Oversee ICS (Internal control system) processes, BPPM (Best Practice Process Management), and Safety Policies within the regional warehousing team
Ensure continuous communication with internal team members and process managers
Prepare and deliver communication of new process and procedures for multiple audience levels

What you need is:
High School Diploma or GED, required; Bachelor's degree, preferred• Minimum six (6) years' experience, required, including:
Functional expertise in warehousing operational value streams
Experience developing or using advanced warehousing tools/systems/processes such as Slotting Platforms, Auto Cad or Cluster engines
Exposure and experiences in working with warehouse design & systems
Experience in leadership roles responsible for operational and/or process improvement teams, preferred
Experience with lean and/or six-sigma; preferred where the journey was beginning/evolving
Formal Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications or equivalent experience, preferred
Successful track record in developing self via learning agility with a strong mix of learning while doing and working in teams in an ambiguous work environment
