Summary: Support and manage pro sales opportunities within Southern Region. Collaborate with Field Sales Group, JELD-WEN Architectural Consultants, Architectural Services Group, National Account Management and Operations Management to achieve desired sales growth through the PRO channel.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Act as liaison for Lowe's group with JELD-WEN Architectural Services Group and Regional Architectural Consultants.
Possess technical ability to read blue prints, complete takeoffs and provide pricing.
Determine scope of projects, appropriate products and methods.
Support Regional Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers with complex large volume and or high profile sales opportunities.
Keep detailed notes on projects, quotes and closed sales opportunities.
Communicate effectively and timely.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Regional Lowe's Pro personnel.
Research, maintain, and provide market intelligence and competitor information.
Have a strong understanding of JELD-WEN products, warranties, Operations, and Call Centers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PROFILE
Specific knowledge and understanding of selling to Lowe's, specifically through the PRO channel, typically gained through 5+ years of field sales experience.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
3+ years working with blue prints.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Be able to read and understand blue prints.
Proficient with Lowe's M2O and JELD-WEN Quick Quote quoting systems.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Candidate must be able to travel 50% outside an office environment.
Able to work both in a store environment and safely on construction job sites.
Able to work independently out of a home office.
