Regional Practice Administrator
The Regional Practice Administrator identifies, develops and executes strategic opportunities to drive revenue and sustainability while maintaining a high level of quality healthcare, meeting compliance regulatory standards, supports quality control measures, and oversees all risk management activities in assigned areas of responsibility, including multiple primary care and specialty practices. Acts as a representative and ambassador internally as well as externally to our local community to promote positive relationships and strong partnerships for the benefit of the organization.
Quality Management: Establishes audits, controls and training of quality standards to ensure all federal, state and other governing regulatory standards are met. Identifies process improvement opportunities.
Finance Management: Facilitates stewardship and financial responsibility with a focus on productivity, revenue enhancement, and cost control, to meet budget expectations. Ensures compliance of all revenue cycle policies and procedures with a focus on benchmarking comparisons and staff accountability. Coordinates with physicians and mid-levels regarding contractual agreements, quality measurements, and financial goals.
Staff Management / Operations: Provides the necessary leadership, direction and documentation to effectively supervise and motivate people, and promotes a "team" approach to problem solving and goal setting within assigned areas. Performs and supports direct reports in the areas of interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff. Counsels and/or supports Practice Managers in counseling employees regarding employment, performance, promotion and termination in accordance with Human Resource policies.
Project Management: Develops a strategy to handle new and varied tasks by initiating and conducting assessments to determine appropriate interventions, as well as conducting research and identifying resources to make recommendations for successful completion of assigned projects. Manages direct oversight of new practice and physician onboardings.
Relationship Management: Serves as a role model to set the standards of behavior, professionalism, and outstanding customer services in all relationships with all customers, internal and external. Facilitates troubleshooting and follow up to ensure effective physician and midlevel relationships.
Education: Associates in Business or Healthcare Administration, or related field, Bachelors degree preferred
Minimum experience: 2 years management experience and 4 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare related environment (physician practice preferred).
