Position Description

We are looking for a Regional Power Manager located in the Western Region of the US who will be responsible for selling and supporting our power and cooling products, such as: Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), rack power distribution, data center cooling solutions and DCiM solutions. Candidates with channel experience as well working knowledge of leading brand manufactures for UPSs, power strips, and DCiM will be considered.

The Regional Power Manager will be part of a national team of experts focused on power & cooling manufactures, product sets, solutions, pricing, and channel programs. The Regional Power Manager will work with manufacturer partners to develop new business and retain and grow existing business. You will engage in key markets with training, drive relationships with power value added resellers', local Anixter locations, and manufactures to drive small and mid-size data centers for power and cooling opportunities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Achieve regional and national power and cooling revenue goals

  • Work collaboratively with local sales organization to support customers requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs

  • Deliver prepared sales presentations utilizing support material describing products or services

  • Front line power and cooling subject matter expert for local Anixter sales people in region: (UPS, rack power distribution, containment, data center cooling solutions and DCiM)

  • Explain power and cooling technologies, services or products, and answer questions from customers or prospects

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with manufacturer partners

  • Manage power and cooling integrator partners/programs in region

  • Own and manage pipeline and forecast

  • Manage time effectively to achieve objectives daily, weekly and monthly

SUMMARY The Manager Regional Engineering shall provide technical and project support to all the Directors of Facility Management in his or her Division(s). He or she shall ensure that all corporate programs are implemented and all MEP guidelines are adhered to. Annually each facility administrative team shall be provided with an evaluation of their plant operations team performance MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Visit each facility on a regular basis and together with the Director of Facility Management tour the campus to review any urgent needs and asses the overall condition of the campus. Ensure that all HCA Healthcare Engineering compliance and MRO programs are fully implemented Review all facility and RCAP funded projects for scope to ensure all MEP issues are included and that they adhere to the HCA MEP design guidelines Maintain a condition assessment database for all assets in the CMMS system Continuously prioritize all capital requests within the division(s) in order to assist FG to address the most urgent needs Provide interim support in the event a facility is temporary without a Director of Facility Management Provide onsite assistance to facilities that are experiencing an emergency like a hurricane, earthquake, etc. Provide assistance to HCA Planning and engineering consultants performing due diligence for corporately funded D&C projects Support facilities with technical expertise during D&C projects Continuously monitor the status of the regulatory compliance programs at each facility At least annually provide each facilities senior management with an evaluation of their plant operations departments performance Assist facilities in the hiring / firing of plant operations staff Evaluate vendor performance at each facility Track the key performance indicators available in the CMMS system for each facility and address with the DFM when needed. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree Required ME or PE in Mechanical Engineering Preferred EXPERIENCE 10 plus years of relevant healthcare experience Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems (including centrifugal chiller plants), Steam Plants, Electrical systems (including Emergency Generators), Medical Gas Systems and Building Automation Systems Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects Excellent communication skills required to explain technical issues to non-technical people Proficient in preparing written reports which include financial analysis Knowledge of CMS AAAHC, OSHA, NFPA and other healthcare regulatory agencies Potential for 25% travel #LI-PT1 INDKD HCA Denver CO
