Overview

This position will lead strategic portfolio planning, represent voice of North America through PAC process, assist on go to market readiness for key product/solution launches, and provide strategic sales support.

Responsibilities

  • LEAD STRATEGIC PORTFOLIO PLANNING

  • Identify & drive investment priorities & portfolio strategies by BU aligned with NA needs.

  • Own & maintain 0-30 month roadmap; Quarterly alignment with BU strategic planning.

  • Drive North America revenue forecast alignment with NA leadership, BU and Finance

  • REPRESENT VOICE OF NA THROUGH PAC and PLMK PROCESSES ( EXECUTION OF STRATEGY)

  • VoC throughout PAC/PLM identify, prioritize, and drive NA regional product requirements

  • Ensure product definition & timely solution deliverables.

  • Identify and prioritize unique NA region product and solution requirements. This includes use cases, business case, features, software and accessories.

  • Provide MRD & PRD input during PAC process.

  • NA sales approval point for all programs ensure alignment with key stakeholders

  • ASSIST ON GTM READINESS FOR KEY PRODUCT/SOLUTION LAUNCHES

  • Focus on product & solution readiness as trusted advisor to vertical market leads.

  • Ensure that features committed are delivered as planned

  • Quantify impact to NA sales when delayed.

  • STRATEGIC SALES SUPPORT

  • Provide domain knowledge & expertise via engagements with strategic customers and partners.

  • Maintain / publish sales enablement tools on quarterly basis.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Education:

  • Bachelors or equivalent experience; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) common.

  • Preferred Work Experience (years):

  • 8+ years of applicable work experience.

  • Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Min. 5-10 years of experience in mobile computing hardware and software solutions

  • Experience presenting in front of sales, partner and customer audiences

  • Experience in negotiating roadmap products and features and representing a regional Sales voice

  • Fluent in Microsoft office products (powerpoint, excel, word)

  • Technical aptitude and ability to communicate technical content to non-technical audiences

We are currently looking for our next Regional Accounting Manager who can add an energetic and strategic view to our Accounting Manufacturing group.   In this role, you will have the opportunity to supervise a decentralized plant accounting organization that is responsible for the development of manufacturing’s standard costs and spend analysis.  You will work closely with two other regional accounting managers in managing the daily product costing activities and month-end accounting of our US plant locations while also providing guidance in the accounting activities at our manufacturing plants.  While there will be times we will need you to think quickly on your feet, we also need a strategic thinker who can assist with projects and the implementation of process changes to achieve administrative efficiencies.  We operate in an integrated SAP environment and we are continuously expanding our capabilities to analyze operating costs in support of plant management decision-making.   If you have a strong desire to drive change, teach others and make things better, then Dart wants you!   Day-to-Day Role: *          Establish, maintain and review location standard cost systems; support the systems used to develop and analyze product costs *          Supervise preparation and analysis of monthly cost center spending, inventory levels, and production standard earned for plant management at each assigned location *          Ensure valued inventories have accurate quantities and are properly valued in accordance with GAAP *          Oversee and analyze the cost of goods sold section of financial statements in support of the monthly financial close *          Acquire a detailed understanding of company processes, procedures and plant accounting internal controls *          Identify, recommend and document plant accounting process improvements and procedures   Core Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate must possess all of the following: *          Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting, or related field of study *          Ten (10) years of experience in cost accounting *          Ten (10) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with plant managers and other business partners *          Five (5) years of experience in implementing accounting process improvements *          Knowledge of query, reporting and data analysis tools *          Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP *          Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license *          Up to 25% domestic travel (may vary by assigned region) Preferred Skills and Qualifications: *          CPA or CMA certification   Overview: As the manufacturer of Dart® and Solo® brand products, Dart Container is an industry leading single-use food and beverage packaging company.
