The Expertise We're Looking For

  • Sales experience in the financial service industry

  • Series 7 and 63 required

  • Series 66 and/or 65 required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire

  • Insurance licenses required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire

  • CFP certification preferred

The Purpose of Your Role

You play a vital role in supporting investor center associates and their customers by reinforcing the principles of consultative selling. The primary responsibility of the Regional Planning Consultant is to coach and develop associates to ensure they possess the skills needed to provide a world-class experience to our clients and grow their books.

  • Providing subject matter expertise on a wide range of financial planning and investment solutions, including managed solutions, wealth advisory services, insurance offerings, and retirement

  • Collaborating with branch management and leveraging development plans to ensure associates are improving their skills and abilities to execute in their roles

  • Training branch associates to become highly proficient and effective sales consultants by embracing consultative selling practices

  • Leading by example and demonstrating organized preparation and effective follow up skills

  • Partnering with branch consultants in client appointments to support the introduction and implementation of appropriate product solutions

  • Supporting the branch culture of growing the business

Practice Consultant – Remote in Fresno, Tulare, Sacramento or Bay area, CA The Practice Consultant is responsible for creating a partnership relationship with providers and other initiatives and implementing the concept of a Medical Home for our members to achieve this fully integrated and accountable system of care. The Special Programs Practice Consultant works primarily in the Health Homes Program but also supports Whole Person Care, Palliative Care, Pediatric Palliative Care, Medical Nutrition Therapy, and Housing programs. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: * Assesses current practice patterns, assets and challenges utilizing Medical Home Index, NCQA Standards, HEDIS audits, site reviews and medical records reviews. * In partnership with the PCP, evaluates results of the initial assessment. * Establishes a project plan with the practice that establishes goals and objectives for improvement. * Provides ongoing practice support and sustains the partnership. * Establishes regular meetings to track progress. * Identifies and facilitates at least one practice in each MPC region to become SSB Physician Champions by obtaining NCQA certification as a Patient Centered Medical Home. * Improves the understanding and sensitivity to the unique needs of this population and the care givers. * Some travel up to 25% within the state. Qualifications: * Requires an AS/BS in nursing (BSN or MSN preferred.); 5 years of managed care experience; 2 years of clinical experience; 2 years of experience making professional presentations to small and large audiences; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Current, unrestricted clinical license appropriate to field of specialty (RN, NP, PA, LCSW etc.) required with RN or LCSW license in the state of California strongly preferred. * Case management experience preferred. * Experience working with community-based providers preferred. * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must be able to present information to providers in a professional and influential manner.
