Regional Operations Strategy Manager
DoorDash is looking for a Regional Operations Strategy Manager to help organize and execute strategic initiatives aimed at maximizing merchant revenue and enhancing merchant partnership offerings. You'll also be directly responsible for supporting our Regional partnership teams through analysis and tool creation to help them become more effective in developing and retaining the most valuable partnerships across the country. You'll be working with large complex data sets and and ambiguous problems to discover insights and turn them into actionable business recommendations. You'll work cross-functionally between our sales, partner management, operations, product, and analytics teams to act as the voice of the merchant and build our merchant foundation.
Our Regional Partner Management team is the heart and soul of DoorDash, enabling us to develop deep relationships with top restaurants across the country to drive revenue and help our restaurant partners operate even better. As DoorDash grows both in size and breadth of offering, the ability for our regional teams to scale and operate efficiently must grow with it.
As our Regional Operations Strategy Manager, you'll discover and drive improvements for DoorDash's regional teams across the country. This will include goal setting, defining executional strategy, leveraging insights to drive performance, building go-to-market playbooks, revenue optimization, strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, process redesign, product roadmap and launches, resource allocation and pipeline analytics. This role sits at the intersection of revenue generation and merchant satisfaction, and as such will require ruthless prioritization and data-driven decision-making to ensure our teams are working against the right goals and have the tools needed to achieve them.

What you'll do
Strategize Devise and execute initiatives on behalf of the overall regional partner management org to "win the merchant"
Experiment Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to run partnership development tests and lead market intelligence efforts
Optimize Build the best merchant development engine so DoorDash continues to offer the highest quality selection for its customers
Analyze Build models to evaluate the economics, value, and opportunity costs of strategic initiatives intended to develop and retain our partners
Influence Manage cross-functional projects with our sales, partner management, operations, product, engineering, business operations and BD teams to improve the merchant experience and achieve targets

3+ years of experience in strategy and operations, analytics, business development, operations, or consulting; high-growth startup or sales ops experience is preferred
Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment
Excellent analytical thinker who can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets; intermediate-level SQL experience is required. Python or R experience is a plus.
