  • Leadership for a multi-site Operational business

  • Proven experience leading a high performing team

VIEW JOBS 10/16/2021 12:00:00 AM 2022-01-14T00:00 We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, organized, and driven <strong>Operations Manager </strong>to work with external partners and internal teams to successfully provide mental health and therapy services via telehealth to patients for a new healthcare project launching in Fall 2021.  The ideal candidate will have experience managing intake and case management teams in a clinic or telehealth setting.  This position will manage a dedicated Intake Specialist team out of the Middletown, CT office (with an expectation of working on-site from Middletown CT).<br /> <br /> <strong><u>What You’ll Do</u></strong>:<br /> Initially the <strong>Operations Manager</strong> serves as project manager to launch this new healthcare solution with an external partner.  Once launched, the <strong>Operations Manager </strong>is primarily responsible for the operational performance, quality, regulatory compliance, and service environment of our programs with external partners (specifically with patients seeking therapy and mental health services).  The Operations Manager manages the Intake Team (serving the External Partners) and works together with the Medical Director of External Partner Relations to ensure patients receive the best treatment in a timely manner.  The Operations Manager is responsible for strategic planning, compliance with PursueCare Policies & Procedures and Partner expectations, timesheets, evaluations, personnel management, and administrative projects/improvements.<br /> <br /> <strong><u>Specific hands-on and mission-critical initiatives may include</u></strong><strong>:</strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Full oversight of daily operations of the External Partner Intake Team, including monitoring & prioritizing workflow, planning, developing, and organizing the team and its responsibilities.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Work with Medical Director to ensure smooth clinical operations and efficient hand-off from intake to clinical team.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Overall accountability and oversight of the intake team and other operational elements of the Wellness Program/External Partner Relations.  This includes operational performance, timely & accurate documentation by operations staff, service excellence, and staff performance management.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Engage appropriate teams/stakeholders to review and address performance.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Manage the selection, training, mentoring, development, and evaluation of assigned staff,</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Responsible for problem resolution.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Proactively address /escalate any reported concerns with all aspects of the PursueCare  experience.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Daily communication to operations team outlining new issues/concerns and detailing progress/recommendations on existing projects and process improvement initiatives.</li> </ul> <strong><u>We’re Looking For</u></strong><strong>:</strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Bachelor’s degree.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Minimum 2 years healthcare operations management experience, preferably in mental health/behavioral health fields.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">2 years of experience using an EHR/EMR (electronic health record/electronic medical record).</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Experience with telehealth preferred.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Intermediate level skills in MS Office and MS Outlook</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">A demonstrated comfort with technology.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Excellent and thoughtful verbal and written communication skills</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Excellent organizational skills</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Drive to take ownership in order to meet professional obligations</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Ability to juggle and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Desire to contribute wherever support is necessary</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Work style, pace, and drive to make things happen, with a bias for initiating and driving positive results</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Belief that healthcare reform begins with innovation aimed at making people's lives better</li> </ul> <strong><u>Physical Requirements/Work Environment:</u></strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.
