JOB TITLE: Regional Operations Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for gathering data from various systems and sources to perform operational and performance analysis, trending, forecasting, and business impact. Review data, programs and initiatives that support and enhance the Company's commitment to customers.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Perform analysis and trending of key performance indicators to identify opportunities for performance improvement and to assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.

Provides operational analytical support for operational management.

Compare actual and target performance metrics and identify performance trends.

Monitor and review reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified objectives and recommend changes in methodology as required to attain business objectives.

Make recommendations based on data for process improvement and strategic business decision making.

Create reports and data driven presentations with impact - identify trends and occurrences in data and translate findings into various mediums including text, charts, graphs, displays, tables.

Investigate and perform root cause analysis of complex nature.

Develop and provide ad hoc reports and compile executive level reporting as required by management.

Individual will work with cross-functional departments.

Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Ability to analyze key performance indicators/metrics

Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner

Ability to present complex data to cross functional audiences in an easy to understand manner

Ability to manage multiple projects

Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to use personal computer and Microsoft Office applications (Excel required, PowerPoint preferred)

Proficiency in data analysis, report creation

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Math, Economics or related field, equivalent training, education and experience

Related Work Experience Number of Years

Quantitative or operational analysis experience 3+

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Knowledge of key performance indicators

Knowledge of cable television products and services

Serve as Regional optical fiber authority for outside plant. Oversee Regional construction according to approved network architecture. Responsible for system design expertise support for Region HFC Analysts and other support groups. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience Participate in decision making surrounding selection of Regional HFC design platform and introduction of design technology in support of near and long term strategic needs. Ensure effective workflow processes are in place to maintain database accuracy approaching 100%, including as-built changes, restoration activity as-built changes, and new extension as-builts. Evaluate/oversee as-built mapping and database updates for existing deployed infrastructure. Serve as Regional expert on optical fiber technology, including best practices related to installation and restoration, wavelength management, fiber count management, and spare fiber management. Participate in decision making related to corporate fiber use policies, including provisioning fiber for CB (Commercial Business) projected needs. Support HFC Analysts in terms of appropriate access to usable electronic design maps and highest level training in complex HFC design, both theoretical and practical. Support Region/KMAs with strategic planning/execution of OSP projects. Interface with ISP team and derive recommend best procedures for overall OSP project success. Responsible for acting as a training resource to field operations as requested.
