We are seeking a Regional Nurse Manager of Oncology for our Cancer Institute!
As the Regional Nurse Manager for Oncology, you would assume direct responsibility for coordinating and supervising the clinical functions in the outpatient chemotherapy infusion departments and the SAMG medical and radiation oncology clinic departments that are part of the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute, located in Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, and Ontario. You would be responsible for clinical leadership and oversight for all clinical practice of medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, and other clinical colleagues. This position also assumes financial responsibility, Oncology accreditation, departmental performance, performance management, and quality improvement programs. You would identify all customer groups, assesses their needs, and coordinates department to successfully achieve service line objectives. Assists the Oncology Director in policy / procedure development and monitoring, multi-disciplinary business planning and program growth development.
About This Position
This position is located on our Boise hospital campus within the Cancer Institute. It is a full-time (40 hour per week) position with a Monday-Friday 8a to 5p schedule. Learn more about our Cancer Institute here: www.saintalphonsus.org/specialty/cancer-care/
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
General Requirements:
5 years nursing experience in acute care required; 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
Education:
License/Certification:
Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.
Must provide licensure or proof of application in the State of Oregon within six months of starting
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) strongly preferred.
