Automotive and Specialty Coatings: The BU works across four main segments of business: Vehicle Refinishes, Aerospace, Automotive and Consumer Electronics.

Vehicle Refinishes business segment is well known in the market for brands including Sikkens, Lesonal and Wanda. With a focus on digital color, technology like Automatchic in MIXIT helps us to build and maintain partnerships across the industry. The Regional Marketing Specialist will support all communication functions that increase over-all brand reach, improve employee engagement and provide value to existing and new customers. They will also be responsible for a variety of communication tasks that allow for the successful completion of planned communication and marketing programs. Including monitoring & executing active marketing programs and developing ways to improve content, campaign, events, promotions. Our ideal candidate will take the initiative to submit ideas for marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the brands image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support brand messaging and communication plans for email announcements, sales literature, advertising, promotional materials, trade shows and events, digital tools and assets for all segments in North America

  • Support integration of new brands and product lines

  • Support development and delivery of brand assets, sales tools, promotional items for all segments in North America

  • Manage translation process of communication material for all segments in North America

  • Manage the creation and execution of marketing announcements for new product launches (non-PR related aspects)

  • Develop business communication flow. Developing content to aid/assist in product communication and messaging working with product management to create effective message in supporting sales tactics

  • Synergize and develop strategies with regional and global teams to achieve marketing objectives

  • Create and manage content for communications, email marketing, sales literature and brand websites

  • Manage copy-editing and proof-reading tasks both internal and external.

  • Apply professional writing skills for custom content pieces with trade publications

  • Manage third party advertising companies support ad campaigns, eblasts

  • Works closely with BU Communications team on story creation and contributes to the annual media plan for specific industry publications

  • Manage monthly ad placement analysis by coatings manufacturers in market.

  • Support tradeshow activities throughout the year with team

  • Be familiar with all applicable corporate and site policies/procedures regarding personal conduct, HSE standards and always in compliance with all applicable regulations

  • Manage website content ensuring up-to-date information is displayed for all brand websites

  • Create and manage content for communications, email marketing, sales literature and brand websites

  • Manage image kits for all respective brands for new customer release

  • Manage copy-editing and proof-reading tasks both internal and external

  • Apply professional writing skills for custom content pieces with trade publications

  • Manage third party advertising companies support ad campaigns, eblasts

  • Manage monthly ad placement analysis by coatings manufacturers in NAM market

  • Support tradeshow activities throughout the year with team

  • Manage website content ensuring up-to-date information is displayed for all brand websites

  • Manage promotional webshop inventory, content

  • Manage literature webshop inventory, content

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, advertising or related field

  • 2 years experience working in marketing or advertising field

  • Professional writing skills

  • Creative development with third parties

  • Image kit management & tracking

This position reports to the Manager of Marketing Communications. In this role, you will design, develop, produce and maintain Seco Tools' brochures, catalogs, and other marketing assets. This will include the quote to print & ship process, coordinating local product launch, marketing-on-demand support and collaborating with Group Marketing, all while adhering to established brand guidelines. You'll frequently collaborate with marketing managers, technical staff and outside vendors to develop various premium quality, innovative promotional material. At a minimum, you will have 1-3 years of graphic design experience coupled with a bachelor's degree, experience with common design techniques and software and experience with the production of printed materials.
