What are we looking for?

We're looking for a skilled marketing professional to take on the role as Regional Marketing Manager in US from our office in New York. You'll manage all commercial initiatives with an emphasis on online advertising to generate high quality leads to the sales team and follow them through the sales process with content and nurturing.

You'll apply your analytic skills to identify local industry trends and other high-potential opportunities and use your commercial understanding to act on your findings via high impact campaigns and activities.

Working closely with the rest of the team in the Copenhagen head quarter, you'll be supported with design, copy, video, data inputs, nurturing, core content, product marketing and web design to excel in your job.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute local marketing strategies with focus on growth.

  • Produce high quality local leads for sales and coordinate campaigns and initiatives with local BDRs.

  • Follow opportunities and identify needed content to ease the sales process together with AEs.

  • Identify local industry trends and turn them into commercial opportunities.

  • Scope, develop and implement local commercial marketing plans and go-to-market strategies.

  • Craft compelling campaigns across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns, email nurturing flows, etc.).

  • Work with various teams (e.g. product development, sales, communications) to implement strategies and obtain necessary insight and knowledge.

The ideal candidate

  • Experience with digital marketing and lead generation in a SaaS company managing your own budget.

  • Deep commercial insight into the American market.

  • Experience and proven track record of producing results during progressive growth in a B2B company

  • Broad understanding of market segmentation and audience research.

  • Strong track record of driving leads and funnel conversion programs.

  • Strategic thinker who can set the overall direction for the local demand initiatives.

  • Deep understanding of various marketing channels including paid search, SEO, ABM, paid social, nurturing, etc.

  • Growth mindset with results-driven approach to marketing (testing, measuring, iterating).

ETFs, Wealth and GSAM (global strategic accounts) Marketing is a component of the Global Sales & Marketing department of the FTSE Russell/ Information Services business unit and works in conjunction with LSEG communications and marketing. What impact does this function contribute to the greater business? He/she will be responsible for the delivery and execution of co-marketing activities associated with these segments in the region, in alignment with equivalent role holders in EMEA and Asia. He/she will be instrumental in raising awareness of FTSE Russell's index component embedded into ETF issuers'/asset managers' index-linked investment products, in contributing to growing assets under management and increasing revenues. What impact does the individual contribute to the department? Support North America ETFs, Wealth and GSAM co-marketing campaigns, product launches, events planning/execution and enable regional sales teams. Who are the main stakeholder groups? Segment Marketing and Marketing Communications, Product Management, Sales and Account Management (in particular FTSE Russell North America ETF team, Wealth team and GSAM team). Role description: What will the individual be doing in this role? 1) NA ETF issuers: Lead the NA (North America) co-marketing function supporting new ETF product issuance and asset growth. 2) US Wealth: Lead the US co-marketing function supporting business growth in US Wealth management. 3) NA GSAM: Lead the NA co-marketing function supporting ad-hoc requests from NA-based GSAM clients. Whom will he/she be reporting to? Head of Co-Marketing, Strategic Accounts and ETFs, FTSE Russell (London). What types of internal interactions will he/she have? Primary touch points will be: * NA ETF team * US Wealth team * NA GSAM team * NA PR team * Global marketing communications, product marketing, content and events teams * Global Product Management team * Compliance and legal Is it Local, Regional or Global in scope? Regional position coordinating with global teams. Why has this position been created? To support the rapid growth of our North America ETF franchise and the launch of our wealth management businesses. Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Co-Marketing, Strategic Accounts and ETFs, and operating within a matrix structure, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with marketing, PR and product teams within the North American ETF ecosystem (and NA GSAM clients) in order to identify appropriate go-to-market strategies and campaigns. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for the execution of FTSE Russell's retail marketing strategy in North America, designed to grow our footprint and support revenue creation with wealth managers, wire houses, RIAs, Robo advisors and ETF model portfolios and strategists. He/she will work with the global marketing and media teams to ensure the delivery of all marketing campaign activity in North America including, but not limited to: PR and social media coordination, joint marketing events, webinars and media briefings, marketing content creation, sales support content creation, third-party conference management (with local events team), roadshows and video scripting and production. Major Responsibilities: 1) NA ETF issuers: Lead the NA (North America) co-marketing function supporting new ETF product issuance and asset growth against FTSE Russell benchmarks and enhancing the brand equity of FTSE Russell with ETF product issuers in North America (and tactically in Latin America). * Expand marketing relationships with ETF Issuers, Exchanges, Liquidity Providers and ETF Service Providers in North America. * Act as the primary touch point for ETF issuers in North America on all marketing and PR activity. * Coordinate with FTSE Russell marketing, content and media teams to ensure the delivery and execution of marketing activity that will support new product issuance and continued AuM growth against FTSE Russell benchmarks. * Work with the NA ETF team, Product Managers and Sales to ensure marketing activity is aligned with business goals. 2) US Wealth/Retail: Lead the US co-marketing function supporting business growth in the strategically important US Wealth management segment, supporting adoption of ETFs by US Advisors, supporting FTSE Russell's Direct Indexing proposition (and tactically supporting investment houses marketing SMAs/UMAs benchmarked to FTSE Russell indexes). * Develop a US co-marketing programme designed to support commercial goals against FTSE Russell index and analytics data to the retail segment. * Coordinate with FTSE Russell marketing campaign managers, content team, digital team and product managers to establish a digital content-based strategy to address this market. * Identify cross pollination opportunities between retail, ETFs and broad marketing campaigns. 3) NA GSAM: Lead the NA co-marketing function supporting ad-hoc requests from NA-based GSAM key clients (and tactically supporting co-marketing requests from other Asset Managers incl. insurers, annuities providers).
