JOB SUMMARY:

The Regional Marketing Manager plans, organizes, writes, updates, and coordinates the production of the request for proposal (RFP), and manages marketing, advertising and promotional activities at the company. This role takes steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of the company through various goals and objectives.

SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $130,000 annually (companywide)

  • A 401(k) savings plan under which BNB matches the first three percent of your deferral with a 100% match and the next two percent with a 50% match for a total matching contribution of 4% of your pay. You are immediately 100% vested in all contributions (including BNB match). We provide both traditional (Pre-Tax) and Roth (post -tax) contribution options in our 401(k) plan.

  • We're also proud to be an employee-owned company. This means you get an ownership stake in BNB through a benefit called an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). It's 100% company funded and is invested in BNBuilders stock. You can participate in this long-term plan after you complete 1 year of service (with at least 1,000 hours).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee regional marketing and project pursuit efforts.

  • Manage multi-member regional marketing team.

  • Manage all details of the RFP process and workflow, including coordinating all responses to ensure appropriateness of responses. This will be obtained in a timely and accurate fashion. Accountable for outcomes.

  • Write and edit RFP responses for accuracy.

  • Determine priorities of responses when receiving multiple RFP's.

  • Provide technical guidance to other team members on RFP procedures.

  • Maintain a library of RFP documentation and update as needed.

  • Develop and maintain accurate, current database(s) of industry contacts for mailings.

  • Plan marketing and branding objectives.

  • Prepare marketing strategies alongside other company Executives and staff.

  • Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.

  • Prepare and adhere to budgets.

  • Oversee creation and delivery of marketing collateral to support internal communication efforts and external business development goals.

  • Ensure brand messages are consistent.

  • Gather and analyze customer insight.

  • Nurture and enrich all external perceptions of the company and growth of market share.

  • Engage consumers on social media.

  • Deepen relationships with all media to ensure the most effective messaging and positioning of the organization.

  • Take calculated risks based on data-driven analytics.

  • Engage other organizations within the AEC community.

  • Collaborate with sales and sourcing to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities.

  • Develop and lead a marketing team that will execute new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position business as innovator and leader.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and/or proposal development, preferably in the AEC industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications or equivalent professional and/or academic experience.

  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies

  • Technical marketing skills.

  • Proven experience in customer and market research.

  • Relevant product and industry knowledge.

  • Experience with relevant software applications including Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), MS Office applications,

  • Needs to demonstrate the following competencies:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
