As a full-time Regional Manager, we will embrace your unique talents and gifts as you lead administration, hiring, performance management, training, auditing and other core services.

You will make decisions and take initiative in managing policy, procedure and administration activities that affect significant business operations while supervising Program Management, Program Lead Staff and Direct Care Staff of all programs at locations across the region. Your mobile office will equip you to execute on the variety of work responsibilities in this role where you will make a profound difference.

You Will Be Given Variety and Challenge Through Meaningful Accountabilities Including:

  • Write and/or review Behavior Support Plans as assigned by Director of Residential Services/Associate Director

  • Participate in development of new residential service programming as assigned

  • Provide support to the Director of Residential Services as needed

  • Maintain CPI Instructor Certification and ensure successful completion of CPI certification for staff as assigned

  • Manage other projects and responsibilities requested to enable coworkers to succeed

  • Attend training as directed that relates to the position and the organization

  • Act as back-up to other Regional Managers/Associate Directors

  • Understand program participants' program objectives and program participants' written plans and oversee compliance to them

  • Lead in adapting to program changes as depicted in consumer programming or agency policies and activities

  • Recruit and retain the best talent to deliver the highest standards of care and support

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science or related field, plus two years managerial experience. Knowledge of CPI behavioral intervention techniques preferred.

  • Strong understanding of HR practices

  • Ability to continually prioritize competing deadlines and accountabilities in order to keep on top of work, meetings and unplanned events

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to work with a diverse population of individuals by using tact, diplomacy and flexibility

  • Basic math skills and financial management skills are required

  • Ability to function in an autonomous role

  • Solid judgement for when decisions are appropriately made independently vs. when they require upper management approval

  • Must have a bias for action, a strong work ethic, flexibility, professionalism, customer service focus and ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to work varying days/shifts

  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

  • First aid, CPR and medication certification are required

  • Strong emotional intelligence and stress management skills to address issues in a calm and graceful manner

The candidate must be a dynamic professional with a proven history of results, including asset preservation, budget performance, industry compliance, and effective communication and leadership skills. Responsibilities: The Regional Manager is responsible, under the supervision of the Regional Vice President, for the management of specific support services for various site and Regional programs, including but not limited to: Program Compliance, Personnel Policy Administration, Rental/Site Administrative Programs, A/P and A/R systems and procedures, Fair Housing and Section 504, Audit and Control, and Training Programs in compliance with all company policies and procedures, Fair Housing and Human Rights statutes. Primary Responsibilities:• With the assistance of the Community Manager, oversees the hiring and training site level staff.• Supervises, monitors and evaluates the performance of site level staff. • Coaches, sets expectations, holds accountable for meeting expectations, and supports staff.• Interfaces with the HR department on hiring/personnel issues/terminations as needed/directed• Provides high-level interface with the manager of systems and procedures and/or accounting personnel regarding complicated A/P-A/R issues.• Monitors and confirms that the appropriate tenant selection processes are consistently in place and confirms staff adherence to all pertinent regulations, including Fair Housing (all sites) and Section 504. (at applicable sites). • Coordinates, with the assistance of Compliance staff, ongoing training and coaching and ensures staff's understanding of and adherence to all Equal Opportunity regulations, which includes Fair Housing, Section 504 and Americans with Disabilities Act through frequent audit of appropriate files.• Tracks and confirms timely, accurate implementation of all agency and RMC procedures and policies at sites.• When requested by the Regional office, interfaces with government/regulatory agency representatives regarding affordable housing questions, compliance issues, etc. When feasible, attends agency administrative audits to ensure staff's compliance and implementation of program requirements.• Confirms timely, accurate implementation of LIHTC Bands of Affordability and rents distributed by the Regional office.• Confirms that compliance reporting - annual, quarterly, etc. - is submitted by sites to regulatory agencies timely and accurately. Serves as liaison between the central and Regional offices as needed to resolve any issues with compliance reporting.• With assistance from Compliance staff, regularly reviews and confirms program compliance for affordable unit move-in, rejection, applicant, and recertification files.• When major administrative problems are discovered at a site, creates an action plan to address those problems. Coordinates the implementation of the action plan with the district manager, and participates as needed, with the district manager, in carrying out the plan. • Reviews all leasing, advertising, outreach letters and documents, brochures, posters, etc., for FH&EO compliance and assures review by the Fair Housing officer before authorizing implementation.
