Overview

As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for helping us build the market, grow our business and people, and ensure restaurant operations standards, while encouraging honesty and integrity in all actions. Plans and directs the daily operating systems of the region in accordance with corporate policies and guidelines with respect to maximizing profits, sales, and maintenance of guest and employee relations.

  • Regularly visits units managed to monitor and improve operational efficiency, adherence to HOA standards and guidelines and overall quality of service

  • Sets and achieves sales targets and assumes responsibility for cash assets and P&L performance for units managed

  • Assumes responsibility for cash, assets, profits and losses of units managed

  • Interprets and executes policies and procedures, and ensures they are being upheld at all times

  • Conducts market meetings as needed to discuss operation procedures, store promotions, safety, security and training

  • Implements marketing and product promotions; ensures new products are rolled out according to standards

  • Ensures maximum employee productivity and work quality for all restaurants managed, provides work assignments and manages restaurant staff performance

  • Manages and executes all duties pertaining to recruitment, training, development, and retention

  • Provides feedback, training and coaching to restaurant management to ensure proper execution of Company plans, programs and standards

  • Promotes restaurant development and coaches team members to resolve technical, operational, customer service and people issues

Qualifications

What we're Looking For:

  • 4 years related multi-unit experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Proven ability to drive initiatives that measure and build sales, traffic and profitability

  • Experience developing, managing and leading a diverse workforce

  • Must have a passion for food and service excellence

  • High attention to detail and focused on getting the job done

  • Strong ability to multi task and readily adapt to shifting priorities

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience using restaurant systems and reporting tools

  • Strong problem solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours: opening/closing, evenings, weekends and holidays

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time (within and outside of the market)

The Regional Director of Business Development is responsible for developing, managing and expanding the Home Health Division. They are responsible for representing the program in the community; for overseeing the daily and long term of the program along with participating in and implementing the strategic plan. They assure the AVP of Sales Program is functioning consistently with Corporate Standards. They are a member of Senior Staff and represents the Program at Senior Staff meetings as directed. Bili Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, substantial high level related work experience may be substituted. * Capacity for mature business decisions and judgments. * Two years relative experience in a healthcare environment. * Experience working with a Medicare/Medicaid licensed health care program. * Active membership in professional, community and/or civic organizations. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated relationship builder and trustworthy leader. * Demonstrated high ethical and moral standards of behavior. * Must possess public speaking and presentation skills. * Valid driver's license and auto insurance required. Special Skills: Preferred: Ideal candidate will be bilingual in English/Spanish Main Duties and Responsibilities Financial * Develops and recommends strategic sales plans and budgets. * Accountable for the sales viability of the designated programs. * Support leadership and managerial decision making with regular, timely reporting of programs' results to management. Admissions Development and Contract Management * Manages the implementation phase of contracts with facilities and physicians. * Develops and maintains relationships with key officials of facilities such as hospitals, NH's, ALF's, managed care organizations. * Develops and maintains relationships with referral base: such as individual physicians, physician practices, facility administrators (NH, ALF, hospitals), and other community based organizations. * Oversees complaint resolution process to assure smooth operation of contracts and ongoing referrals. * Develops strategies to ensure that volume projections are achieved for designated program. Management * Assures an effective management team for designated program in order to obtain strategic initiatives and operational goals. * Promotes a positive internal climate based on the organization's values. Public Relations * Establishes and maintains positive public relations with community and business leaders, politicians, and other key individuals. * In conjunction with Corporate Communications, participates and responds to media opportunities. * Identifies and collaborates to secure fundraising opportunities with the Development Department. * Assures the handling and resolution of any complaints from patients, families, and the public. * Work with corporate staff and corporate consultants to advocate for program at state and federal level. Compliance * Achieves and maintains applicable accreditations. Follows the company's systems, policies, and standards assuring the designated program passes all inspections, surveys, reviews, for licensing and certifications such as for CMS, AHCA, and Accreditation bodies. * Ensures compliance with all administrative functions and policies with regulatory agencies such as OSHA, EEOC and Department of Labor, for example by maintaining proper personnel and confidential files, staffing records, incident and injury reports. * Assures compliance with all applicable regulations, statutes and parent company administrative policies and procedures. * Demonstrates personal leadership and ethical business practices. General * Ensures a safe, efficient, adequate work environment for employees, clients and volunteers. * Ensures that building(s) maintained, disaster planning is conducted, equipment is functioning supplies available, computer system working, etc. * Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor. Special Demands/Physical Requirements: This position may sometimes require medium/heavy lifting. Normally such lifting will involve but not be limited to, assisting with transfer/repositioning of the patient either in the home or nursing facility. The position is also mentally demanding because of the continual need of assessing and evaluating clinical aspects of the patient's care. This position requires considerable time traveling in a motor vehicle in connection with performing essential functions of position.
