Orkin, the Industry Leader in Pest Control, is seeking a Regional Manager for our Midwest Division. You will design, execute, and manage strategies for up to 14 Midwest Branch locations.

Ability to relocate within the Midwest is required

What does a Region Manager do?

  • Assumes leadership of an entire region upon completion of training.

  • Manages, directs and organizes multiple Branch offices to ensure effective sales, quality service delivery, revenue attainment, and profitability growth, by analyzing each individual operation and mutually establishing priorities.

  • Promotes positive employee relations including fostering high morale and upholding company operating standards.

  • Drives sales initiatives and results for all Branches throughout the Region.

  • Recruits, hires, mentors, evaluates and coaches Branch Managers and other key leaders throughout the Region.

  • Assures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

  • Ensure accountability for and compliance with the policies and procedures for all company vehicles within the Region.

  • Identifies best practices, cost savings and improved customer service initiatives.

  • Collaborates with Senior Leadership and Human Resources on key hiring, promotional opportunities, succession planning, performance improvement and termination decisions.

  • Maintains technical industry knowledge and expertise in pest, termite, sales and Operational Management.

What you need to bring for success?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field required

  • 5+ years multi-operational or sales management experience with a results-driven company

  • 5+ years P&L responsibility experience and an acute understanding of expense control strategies

  • Demonstrated ability to own projects, be a visionary, and influence all levels of talent

  • Experience in managing the efforts of management employees in a professional environment

  • Goal oriented, results driven, self-motivator, with a strong sense of urgency

  • Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve issues and challenges

  • Experience in a service industry, route based environment, a plus

  • Strong written, and oral communication skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to complete our Management Development requirements designed to transition exceptional knowledge and skills from your current industry to ours

  • Position requires frequent travel within the region

  • Ability and flexibility to relocate within the Midwest

Position Overview : Eaton's $2B Hydraulics business serves global and diverse markets and customers with four major product lines: Power & Motion Controls, Fluid Conveyance, Golf Grip, and Filtration. 75% of the hydraulics business is focused on mobile segments (joystick controls, gear pumps, manifolds) and 25% on stationary segments (coolers, cylinders, piston & vane pumps). Eaton's Hydraulics Division is seeking a Regional Product Manager to be based at our Maumee, OH office. In this role, you will have regional product line management responsibility for a portfolio of products in the Industrial & Specialty Product Category. The Regional Product Manager is the lead for the product category in the Americas Region responsible for implementing growth strategies to drive product profitability, volume, mix, market share improvement, and price. Key responsibilities include: regional execution of the product lifecycle strategy, regional business development, regional PANP, regional product marketing, regional rationalization, regional promotion, regional strategic pricing and training. You will act as key regional marketing resource for trade shows, Tech Days and other related National/International forums. Participation in Trade Associations. * You will provide support on commercial contract negotiations on a needed basis * You will support manufacturing footprint strategies in region based on customer/market requirements.
