Regional Maintenance Technician- SPM, LLC

Position Summary:

The Regional Maintenance technician is responsible for completion of assigned tasks and initiatives at 4 small affordable apartment communities located in Sparta, Barron, Medford and Mosinee Wisconsin. This will typically involve closing open work orders, assisting with inspection preparations, addressing audit or inspection findings, locating vendors and negotiate bulk pricing and contracts, and other tasks as directed. Work environment varies and will include working both inside and outside of buildings, and will sometimes require working inside occupied apartment units. This position will involve 100% travel.

• As directed by the Regional Property Manager, travel to properties and complete assigned tasking.

• Responsible for unit turn scheduling and completion.

• Responsible to manage stock inventory at each site.

• Log all travel costs and working hours by property.

• Complete assigned service requests, preventive maintenance tasks, and other activities promptly and efficiently.

• Provide feedback to the Regional Property Manager on the status of assigned work, as well as the general state of repair of properties that they visit.

• Some weekend and holiday work may be required periodically.

• Must provide excellent customer service to residents, coworkers, and vendors.

• 5+ years property maintenance experience required.

• Must be willing to travel up to 2.5 hours each way two or more days per week.

• Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds.

• Must have a valid driver's license, proper automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation.
