Job Description:

Leads human resources functions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment for a leading business process outsourcer with over 1,000 employees located in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Provides leadership, guidance and support to management and employees on HR issues. Serves as a member of the US-based senior HR leadership team, assisting in projects, policy, procedure and program development, and ensuring fair and equitable policy administration. Provides training and development for management to ensure proper interpretation and administration of HR policies and processes and guides management in ensuring positive employee relations. Collaborates with managers and leads initiatives related to employee satisfaction, engagement and retention. Manages a broad range of HR related programs related to the employee lifecycle including orientation, leave management, workplace safety, benefits, compensation, performance management, HRIS and employee records, and ensures legal compliance. Leads, coaches and develops site HR staff. May provide HR leadership support to other US locations.

Job Requirements

Typical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related area strongly preferred.

  • Six (6) or more years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources including three (3) or more years of management/leadership experience.

  • Service oriented with strong relationship building skills; positive interpersonal skills

  • Experience and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment; Call Center experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of Human Resources, including, but not limited to, federal and state (especially TN) regulatory information, EEOC, UC, FMLA, OHSA, FLSA, Workers Compensation, employees compensation and benefits, performance management, HR policy administration, employee recordkeeping/HRIS and employee related programs; ensures legal compliance

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to write and deliver business communications and presentations clearly, effectively and with good grammar.

  • Collaborative HR business partner with demonstrated ability to deliver training, guidance and advice to managers and employees and ensure compliance with policies, programs and processes

  • Strong problem resolution skills, strong attention to detail and deadlines, strong organization skills; time management skills and ability to prioritize and manage projects and tasks; effective change management skills; understands how to minimize pressure and stress

  • Self-motivated team player with leadership and management skills and the desire to coach employees to success; thinks creatively and facilitate solutions that establish positive employee relations environment.

  • Ability to lead and develop HR team, serve as employee advocate, maintain confidentiality and balance needs of employees and the business using fair and equitable policy administration

  • General understanding of call center environment and high-volume recruiting and ability to partner effectively with recruiting team, payroll and other business units as needed

Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree preferred. * A minimum of two years experience in a Human Resource Generalist role. Food service, hotel or hospitality experience in operations is strongly preferred. * Human Resource experience must include specific employment and recruiting experience with a large customer service hourly employee population. * Preferred experience in dealing with unions. * Candidate must be willing to be hands on with staff and operations and be willing to work event-based hours that include evenings and weekends.
